Philzone.com wins Jammy Award for best fan website of the year!

Philzone.com acceptance speech: On behalf of Bret Heisler, Len Tafro, Jennifer DeVincenzo, Kristen Schneeloch, and Robert Lucente, we are extremely honored and surprised to be accepting this award. First and foremost we’d like to thank the Phil Lesh & Friends and Jam Fan communities, and especially the PHANS - the ZONERS for making Philzone.com a frequent visit in cyberspace and your favorite jamband website of the year. It's not only the site itself, but also the community that has made Philzone.com such a grAte place to visit!

We’d like to thank Jambands.com, Relix and the Jammy’s for organizing and hosting this incredible music celebration and for bringing the whole jam community together. Of course, big thanks to the folks who nominated us for this award.

Jammys After Party Recap @ BB Kings, NYC 10.2.02

Trey and Warren Join moe. - Special guests performed with moe. earlier this morning at the official Jammys after party at B.B. King Blues Bar & Grill in New York City. Guitarist Trey Anastasio (Phish) joined the group around 3 a.m. for "Happy Hour Hero" -> "Recreational Chemistry," which also featured keyboardist Steve Molitz (Particle). Guitarist Warren Haynes (Gov't Mule, Allman Brothers Band) and keyboardist Nate Wilson (Percy Hill) then took the stage for "Opium," which included a "Norwegian Wood" tease, and "Bodhisattva."

In the venue's side room, Particle welcomed keyboardist Ivan Neville (Neville Brothers) for "Metropolis." Bassist Stefan Lessard (Dave Matthews Band) and saxophonists Jessica Lurie (Living Daylights) and Sam Kininger (Soulive) then sat in on "Windjammer."
