This is a rough list, as there are 2-3 that I'm unfamilier with, ???? marks
the ones I don't know:
Wharf Rat >
Loose Lucy
Rio Dorado???? >
Nothing to Say????
"any requests?"
Black Muddy River>
Hunter's rap about Jerry (very touching )
Promitory Rider >
Ripple
Hunter's scat/acappella thing ????
Here's what I got:
Wharf Rat
Loose Lucy
Loser
Into the Blue
Black Muddy
Promontory Rider
Ripple
Boys in the Barroom (the best thing I've heard from the four Hunter
shows I've seen!)
Hunter setlist from Chciago, 12/2
Drunkard's Carol, Candyman, Wharf Rat, Cats Under the Stars (1st time
played by RH), The Song Remains, Easy Wind > Mr. Charlie > Easy
Wind, Stella Blue, Ripple, Boys in the Barroom
I was on the rail directly in front of Mr. Hunter last night at Oakland. He
was sublime, in as good form as ever. I've run out of superlatives.
Thank you for everything, for all of these years.

I'll echo those sentiments. The one and only time I saw him (a tiny
venue in Breckenridge) he was astonishing!
I'm chiming in, too. I posted a message in TOO reviews, but last night was the best I've ever heard RH before. The audience was the dream audience for him.
Robert Hunter was a great addition for the set break during the shows
I had listened to a tape of him performing & was not all that impressed
with his vocals (love his writing), but all that changed in Indy
In Indy, Hunter was like a "dream" during the break-
eveywhere i went (beer line, bathroom, seats) he was there providing
his beautiful poetry in a melodic-type trance.
I really enjoyed his style & energy
& ya gotta give that man some credit for getting up in front of the arena
with just his poems, guitar, & voice- WOW!!!!!
Robert Hunter- YOU ROCK brother!!!
Thanks you for sharing your words with the world, my life would not be the same
without them
All the years combined, they melt into a dream...
