Phil On The Mountain?
This year brings the 4th Annual Mountain Jam (May 30-June 1) with the likes of Gov't Mule (Warren), Levon Helm (Larry Campbell), Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood, DSO (Rob Barraco), Jackie Greene, and a bunch more. In addition to the fact that P&F played this festival last year, there are at least five of Phil Phriends among these bands. Sooo, many are wondering, will Phil show up for the Jamfest? It almsot seems like a set up? We sure hope he turns up but we don't have any solid info right now. If we hear any more, we'll be sure to let you know.

Phil Heating Summer Up Early?
We've received several seemingly reliable rumors about Phil & Friends teaming up with The Allman Brothers Band in June for a short tour in the Northeast. Word is they will kick out about a half dozen shows after Bonnaroo. One of the purported stops will be a revisit to Bethel Woods in upsate NY (the site of the original Woodstock). For anyone who was there last time, you'll remember that was one helluva show & Trey stopping by to help out sure didn't hurt either. We're really excited at the notion of even more of a Summer Tour... we're holding our breath awaiting further news!

Are The Dead Really Dead?
The recent GD member reunion for the Deadheads for Obama Rally have reignited (already persistent) rumors about a possible Dead reunion a la Terrapin Station sometime. Phans have been craving such an even for a few years now. Every year rumor crops up - maybe this Summer it'll actually happen. (We're NOT holding our breath for this one.)
