For some reason, I became overcome with emotion during The Music Never Stopped. It was like I was reliving all the joy of all the years in one poignant moment. The "X" factor was in full force last night. The muse descended and the spirit swirled. During the post drums jams, my brain was feeling waves overtaking each other. One of the visuals was sound waves, when nodes overtake each other and create brief energy pulses. I'm so glad to hear them play well together. Very beautiful music.
Still fresh after all these years.

GD50 ENJOY!
Of the Chicago shows, this one was IT for me A Phil & Friends show at it's finest.
Music Never Stopped was more better than I've heard it in a long while. Yay band!
From the minute I heard Box of Rain I knew this was going to be a monster show. Everyone thought Box would be a show closer as it had been the last time GD played here in 1995...surprise it was the first Chicago song. A continuation from where they left off 20 years ago. Trey was the best choice to fill the air with guitar, like Jerry and like Trey all rolled into one. Most of this show was one big explosion of sound and emotion. The magic was still there!
