Did anyone catch the short acoustic set by Warren in the parking lot outside in between Dickey and Ratdog?
Patchwork Quilt
And it Stoned Me
Soulshine
The main "shakedown" scene was in the other parking lot on the far side of the venue so I'm guessing the bulk of the folks still out in the lots at this time were oblivious to it, but WOW it was nice to see.
I would say there only about 150 people out there to see this and for me it was the real treat of the day. (and a taste of what was to come in the first Phil set)
cool! would have loved to have seen that? was it at the govt mule van? ive talked to those guys several times this summer and theyve said he will come out every once in a while, to bad i always miss him!!
It was at the Govt Mule van. A very simple setup - 2 small PA speakers and a folding table between Warren and the crowd. He signed autographs for few minutes afterwards.
they did that at many venues this tour. nice touch. warren is a regular guy who likes to play(for a rock star)
he seems to love the music(sometimes i ?) and IMO is pulling this band along...wont get to see anymore P&F this tour but ill see him at ABB real soon..
TOOOOOOO FUCKNING COOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Warren do that same thing in the west !!!!
That is pretty cool of him.....
He did it at Red Rocks also.
