Setlist: Phil portion of the show only.
First appearance- Sat in with his son's band on Big River. Heard that it was very moving. Alas, I was outside and missed it.
Main appearance- Can't tell you the band members. Can't tell you the first song they played. Either I was outside, or I was too drunk to tune in. Not sure which. So, beginning with the second song...

Slim's is tiny. Most of the high school kids had departed by the time Phil came out. Only about 150-200 people remained. Imagine being able to walk up, easily, to within 10-15 feet of Phil, and Phil's son (a very handsome young man with a great vibe) is grooving right next to you. Smiles for miles, folks. One of my favorite Phil shows of all time, and I've seen a few.
I agree....it was like a family
I saw the 2002 show there, it was a release party for the cd, and was two feet from Jimmy Herring and Rob Barraco, and yes it is a tiny place. They played all of There and Back Again, and encored with Masons Children. Coming in it was hard not to go for the front of the stage, I was like pulled up there like a magnet. Got lucky after winning two tickets on KFOG, and Jimmy Herring and Rob shook my hand after the show. Jimmy was rocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rock Relief::
It's really nice to know that PHIL can share HIS family, with our PHAMILY. This was a very special night, indeed. The real fortune was making new friends, that Sunday Night. Shaking PHIL'S hand, and basically smoozing about, in a room w/ PHIL.
Thanks for the priviledge PHIL. It has always been so.
p.s.>>>>>The Rowan Brother's were amazing, too!
