this was a great show. The venue was sold out. They had to turn people
away at the door. Rodney Holmes is the best drummer I have ever seen.
Imagine if Bruce Lee was a drummer. That describes Rodney. Jim plays
the guitar like he is wrestling a rabid wild animal! These guys aren't
just musicians, They're athletes!!! This band needs to be seen and
heard to truly appreciate their talent. Go see them live!!!!
Haven't seen Weider or his new band, but I agree that Rodney Holmes is one of the best drummers EVER. Saw him with Kimock a few times over the last couple years, and he completely blew me away.
Jim Weider played guitar for "the Band" from 1985-1999. Guitar player magazine just named him one of the top 101 guitar players. He's a master of the telecaster and is known for his tone. Rodney Holmes truly is an amazing drummer and Jim really lets him stretch out in this band.
they're playin tues night in LA...hmmm $13 bux!
I wouldn't pass up a chance to see these guys.
Check out the ProJECT PERCoLAToR MySpace page, it's got 4 tunes you can stream that'll rock your world:

Catch them Tonite at the 12 Galaxies in SF and Sunday @ Sweetwater, Mill Valley
Are you going tonight Rich? I just checked out the myspace clips and they convinced me!
Yes Emily I'll check it out
Doogs and Rory too. See you tonight.
Best thing about the 12 Galaxies is you can hang directly above the band in the balcony. This is the prime "drummer" viewing venue (like Banyan/Perkins a few weeks back)
