Very laid back both nights with the second night having the better crowd. Lots of banter between the brothers which added a lot to the shows. Rich got some great tones out of the twelve string and he sounded great when he was plugged in with an Esquire and a Tele. I'm not kidding when I say No Expetations sounded better than on Beggars Banquet, it was the highlight of the two shows. The shows were audio and video taped by the band and I would not be surprised if they are officially released seeing how they repeated a few songs (which sounded better the second night).

Thanks for the lists and review Joe. Sounds like a couple of worthwhile shows. Was the first night duo show acoustic? Oddly, when I was picking away this morning, the chords to "Jealous Again" popped into my head. Must be something in the air!

Yeah, both shows were acoustic but Rich played a few songs plugged into what looked like a Fender Blues Junior. Chris even took a solo on Polly.

I ended up going to the second show as planned, cause my flight couldn't get into Newark. When I realized I had booked that flight, and was missing the show, it stunk. I felt badly about forgetting a date with my husband...well, he picked me up at a downtown hotel, after a day of hell, and we went to five Points to catch the show.

I love the Crowes, and it's been a big year...and I really wasn't expecting much, but trully, it was beautiful in it's simplicity. They sound great when they harmonize, Chris was more upbeat then he'd been in a while....

If Brothers of A Feather show up at your door, don't hesitate. Really wonderful night.
