I just want to thank all the reviewers who post on the zone. I appreciate you all!!! It's great fun to read reviews of shows you attended or wished you had. You have inspired me to begin posting reviews. Again, thank you reviewers!!!

same here g.dad, spent about 4 years in just reviews before I ever stepped foot in other stuff, this is the nucleus!

It's nice to know that folks are reading the reviews, it's hard to tell because there are so few hits on each review, but since I started writing some I discovered that whether people are reading them or not I enjoy doing it; it's good writing practice and it really helps to set the memories of a show deeper in my head, so I'm doing it for myself as much as anyone else.

I know that I read every one, and I'm surprised if most Zoners don't read the reviews, because this is where we hear what we all think of various shows, which should lead people to try music they may never have thought of; and really, what's cooler than that!

I check the Reviews section every time I log onto the Zone.

I mostly lurk here and post brief messages supporting and responding to reviewers.

Occasionally I post a full-blown review of shows I've seen, but I don't attend nearly as many shows as a lot of the regular posters here.

Reviewers rock! I used to write them on Jambase and then that developed into doing music writing for a living (a meager one at that!) and now I have a "legit" job so I don't do music writing for income anymore so I might just have to start writing reviews again for the fun of it!

I love a good, opinionated review. I also like reviewers that encompass the whole show going experience, not just the music. I love to hear about how the crowd reacted, were any hot girls there, was the keyboard player nodding off, sound quality, soundman competence, light show, beer prices, security issues, funny crowd interactions, etc....
