I got there at what I thought was late but the first of three bands had just started.
Triclops kinda punkish, the lead sinder had some effect on his mic, kinda sounded like Mickey Mouse. not my cup o tea musically but the singer guy did wiggle, on his back, from the stage to the bar about 50ft or so while singing which was prett cool except the floor was real sticky.
Next up Mammutus this was, I guess, Fantasty Metal Acid Rock, real loud and hard, songs about dragons and seeing off into the distance, they wore mumus and there was a guy on the stage with a big stick that didn't do anything but play with the stick, still all in all they were loud and fast and rocked hard, nice short set.
ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE
not too much to say just WOW,incredible stuff, like Seastones on Acid is what I kept thinking, truely music to my ears. Powerful and subtle, great grooves and a dude that just SHREDDED the guitar. At one point he blew his amp head, it seemed like they were gonna end the show but they switched heads and kept rocking on. I had to leave at 2am but they were still going oh well I can't wait till next time.
ROCK ON AMT.
thank you!
I missed them on this go round due to stuff but Im glad that freaks are still freaking freshly to these freaks.
