damn good music. fun time. great to see Kimock play w Wasserman & Melvin. The drummer was excellant too & I always love Martin F, but I could do without the trumpet player. He was bouncing a little too much for the spacey jazz they were playing most of the set. As usual, Kimock was spectacular at key moments, and seemed bored and distant at times. I know what to expect after all these years, and remind myself to be patient and keep perspective during the many boring minutes of a Kimock gig, because it is worth the wait when Steve finally gets into his groove & rips guitars to shreds. That hand piano, mriba from Africa, I think, was interesting.

>>>The drummer was excellant too<<<
That's good to know, since it's his band!!
Steven Perkins is a GREAT R&R drummer, and he played in a GREAT rock band; Janes Addiction.
It's cool that he uses such different musicians at different times in the Banyan line-up.
I have yet to see this version, so thanks for the review.
This set is the best kimock I've ever seen...loved the lineup!
I liked everyone...even martin who can annoy me easily
