Saw deep purple last night at radio city and I must say i was impressed as to how good they were....great show...energetic...exciting..well paced and great playing.....for a band around as long as they have been the show was fresh and the improvising exciting....the choice of steve morse as guiatarist was a stroke of genius for the band years ago replacing richie blackmore...he is outstanding and brings a different sound to the band ...the setlist included all of the favorites....smoke on the water..hush....highway star...space truckin and a few lesser known songs....highly recommended if you are a deep purple fan or a fan of this kind of music

Nice review. I was wondering how Steve Morse would work out. Who was on vocals?
