Set 1: John Hardy’s Wedding, Peggy-O, Blackberry Blossom, Fair To Even Odds > Jam > Any Naked Eye, Happy Birthday To Mike, Oh Babe It Ain’t No Lie, Cumberland Blues

Set 2: Jam > Harvest Moon (Instr), Fable Of A Chosen One, Sliding Delta, Rakish Paddy, Road To Armageddon, What You Say > Stella Blue

It's always a treat to see Mr. Nelson and of course last night was no different. Thanks to Rich for the hookup with the wristband, it's much appreciated!

I *gasp* left early, but it looks like I only missed the Stella Blue, so no harm done.

The first set was entirely acoustic, making the Any Naked Eye a special treat, I dig the all acoustic version! And let's not forget it was MaltMan's birthday, he got a special Happy Birthday from the band, followed by a toast from his employees! Oddly enough, it was his birthday yet he managed to buy several of us zoners a round! Thanks Maltman, hope you enjoyed your day as much as the rest of us. :-)

The Harvest Moon was very sweet, love that tune, especially with the harvest moon shining brightly through the window! and the Sliding Delta was a treat, along with Peggy-O, always favorites!

Barry played lots of pedal steel, I loved it! It was definitely a reminder of how much he's missed on stage with Phil. Good news is there was talk of the upcoming DNF shows, although say goodbye to DNF--rumor has it barry wants to name the band Banana Marmalade :-)

Thanks for posting the review Emily. I checked earlier and didn't see it, but figured you would put one up later.
Sounds like fun as always!

So this is a no drums group? Just David & Barry on guitars and Sears on bass?

It sounds like a cool thing, but more Bay Area David Nelson BAND shows, I say!!!!

No Drums, but Molo was in the house for dinner prior to the show last night.

I don't miss the drums in this setting. Sears was a monster on the bass last night, he played accordian a bit and sat at the keys for a few songs as well, but his bass duties are my favorite by far!

Of course more David Nelson, in any form, will be appreciated!
