10/6/07 Mexicali Blues Cafe. Teaneck, NJ
Donna Jean & the Tricksters
Big roaring monster, great show, off the hook!
they just took it to the place, and the place rocked, a grooving crowd on the mexicali dance floor. Donna was fabulous, and the Tricksters,
well they know how to lay down a groove and then some.
Great singing, drumming, guitar and vocals by the band, Jeff's guitar was screaming all night. Mookie was on keyboards. Super jams and a good setlist. Spirit in the sky (the norman greenbaum cover) was stellar, with a grinding groovy long guitar jam afterwards. Hot Hot Hot

The show was a LOT of fun!!! The playing was absolutely top-notch and what made it even better was how obvious it is that this band loves what they're doing! They were obviously having a ball and it make me so happy to see Donna having such a good time. Thanks for the review Matty.
