This will sound overly critical but let me first assert that I enjoyed the show and I am happy I went.

All in all a decent show, saved by the second set. The first set just seemed like it lacked fire. JoJo should not be allowed to do songs, it just sucks the life out of the show. First set seemed like they would start up a song, sing the words and then everyone would just stand around and look at Jimmy like okay make it cool now.

Second set was a whole different animal. Whatever Dave Schools did at setbreak he should do it before the show. He was a monster in this set with the thundering descending bass runs. They just seemed so much more energized for this set. Crowd was up and cheering and having a good time.

Not a huge Panic head, I've seen them one or two times a year since seeing them at UW Madison in 91 or 92. I must ask, does the percussionist seem a bit extraneous to anyone else? Seemed like he was playing the exact same thing as the drummer all the time, no counter point or rythmic complexity. Seemed like he was having a real good time though

Great weather a great venue and really good beer specials at the show and all in all a good time.

>>> does the percussionist seem a bit extraneous to anyone else?<<<

Yeah, I wasn't impressed with him when I saw them a few weeks ago. I'm not well schooled in WSP history but he strikes me as a guy who has always been in the band so they keep him, even though he is IMO a very weak percussionist compared to so many that are out there. Still, loyalty is a good thing.
