such a let down todd wasnt there, worst that they said they would play an afternoon set at 3 the next day, and then we drove up, and it was cancelled...oh well, what can you do...the best was 'hoots and hellmout' opened up, anyone catch them? really strange, it was heavy metal bluegrass...they were banging their heads more than angus young does! really high energy, they had this board out to stomp on for more percussion...pertty good overall, good harmonies but too much hair and head snapping, weird...they played until 10:15, RRE was pretty good without todd, bettter than i thought... the guest guy was like jimmy buffetish, not bad at all...jsut disappointed in that the band said they were playing at 3 on sat and then they didnt...but i only drove 30 min, and it was great seeing all the great autumn leaves etc...i guess my stub will be honored in the future, so all is good...
such good vibes too, i know some zoners were there, RRE has such mellow fans / hobos, really cool people

Don't ever listen to the what the band says..

Thanks for the review..
yeah, scarletfire8, we were there too, only a five hour drive for us!! it was disappointing but a weekend with nothing else to do but hang out doesn't come often for us so it was nice.
so glad all is well with todd and his family~ he was most def all smiles saturday night which gave the show some nice energy!
hoots and hellmout were entertaining. head bangin bluegrass. interesting combo for sure. they seemed like fun kids, havin a good time.
secuirty was rediculous at that joint.
oh- that crazy mofo leading gloria for sat encore was a nutjob! had me crackin up
i hated the people really harshing on todd, as if the bands performance was more important than his unborn child (his girlfriend almost lost their baby, she is 4 months pregnant)...i didnt care that much, it was fun overall...life is what you make it
Good to hear... Todd and Erin and baby are all doing very well!
thanks!
