These guys put on a great show. They are at the Nokia tonight and tomorrow in NYC as a double bill with Soulive. Should be a great time.

They played two sets and a nice encore(joined by the keyboard player from Papa Grows Funk-they were playing upstairs simultaneous with this show!)

Elgin Park, on guitar is so laid back on the beat that it seems like he'll never arrive on the downbeat in time. But he always does. I really enjoy that, and I loved when Jerry did that kind of thing!

This show is up for download on etree.org

A very very nice sounding recording. The mics were ON TOP OF THE SOUNDBOARD itself. The taper called that "Extreme Front of Board", lol

Correction, some mics were on top of the soundboard, but not for the recording on etree. Not sure what 'extreme' fob means....

Either way, recording is superb!

My buddy taped the EFOB recording and believe me he was EFOB, basically right in front of Karl getting the off stage sound. We were up in the balcony and the tapes sound phat. Those mics at the SDB were the bands mics, most likely for a matrix mix or something ...
