I am too psyched. Listening to 11/24 right now and the boys still sound tight.

The Tower is a non-smoking venue. What will the 'scene' inside be like? Phil in 1999 was total mayhem.

But I will take whatever they throw at me, be there all 3 nights. Has anyone taken a camera into the Tower??? I will be 3 rows from Warren on Sunday and would love to get a few pics.

There's a bar right near the Tower called the Waterford. It was PACKED last night due to the rain and stuff, plus it's soooo close. for those of you looking for a place to hang out before or after that's a little slower and quieter (plus it's CHEAP) and you get served quicker, there's a tiny place a little ways on W. Chester Pike (Rte 3) called the Irish Pub. It's a dive, but it's cool if you don't want to be around a million people after the show...

also, what's up with everyone complaining about the non-smoking rule? I'm not sayin about anyone on this list, but last night I ran to the bathroom during the first set and all I heard was how bacd the Tower sucks, blah blah blah, all b/c you can't smoke. SO WHAT? People actually said that they didn't want to come back tonight or Sunday. Then why are u here? Seriously! Don't mena to be gripin to you all, but I was seriously pissed off.

I didn't hear much comment about how the band deliberately screwed up Sugaree>Rider and Sugar Magnolia- I guess I'll have to listen back to check out exactly how they done it, but I took it as a comment on how Garcia screwed himself up, ruined the Dead etc, and lastly a take on Bobby Weir and 'rock stardom' in general. People coming out seemed a little confused but I didn't hear anyone say' boy they stunk that up at the end...'- only, 'gee, I guess it sounded OK, don't you think?'. Feel free to flame me if you think I'm out of line, but after the brilliance of the first 2/3ds of the 2nd set, the clinkers and fluffs they were laying down were super obvious (Plus I wound up in the 2nd row in front of Barracco and could see the sly smirks they were concealing)

It's called Improvisation! Sometimes that happens, but I sure don't buy that they deliberately fucked up the songs. Sorry, that's just not the way it works.

1)playin jam>china cat>playin jam>again & again, ramble on rose>jam>comes a time>spacey jam>TNK/love supreme> mason's children

2)shakedown>wheel>samba/blues jam> cold rain>midnight train>jam>Help>Slip> Blues For Allah jam>GDTRFB>Golden Road

e)Slip>Franklin's

wow! if Friday night at the Tower was great than this Saturday night was amazing!!!

It hit all the right places for me. The jams were propulsive with the right amount of space and the song selection seemed tailored just for me. I got all three of my picks that I predicted above and even got 2 of them segued like I hoped (cold rain>midnight train)

This is the first show I actually wrote the set list down and took notes on the jams while they played so here's the play-by-play:

the first set kicked off with an immediately distinct Playin' jam. I half expected Bobby to descend from the ceiling in a cloud of dry ice Spinal Tap -style to sing the tune but instead we got a great China Cat with Jimmy and Warren playing the two guitar parts of the intro almost exactly like Bobby and Jerry. I danced hard of course. China Cat evolved back into the Playin' Jam which then wound down into a strong Again&Again. I was impressed how tight the vocals were between rob, phil and warren compared with last year's versions.
This ended with a cold stop (the only mid set stop of the night) Ramble on Rose came next. It was a good version. It was obvious to me Rob was having fun singing. I made this note of the jam that followed "Jimmy fast runs with Molo thunder." Warren seemed a bit more engaged playing tonight but Jimmy was definitely the star. He was on fire many times especially when he locked in with Rob. This jam became "Comes a Time." Warren was soulful on the vocals and he did some great soloing. After C.A.T. Jimmy did some more fast runs as Rob played a very tinkly piano then Rob hit some sustained spacey chords and a spacey jam ensued. Someone on the crew put a vocal mike in front of Molo. I thought maybe he was gonna sing or scat while drumming ( I imagined him singing "What I Like About You") but apparently the mike was just for the on stage discussion about what was gonna happen next 'cause the mike was soon pushed away and Molo kicked into the intro for Tomorrow Never Knows. Throughout the mid-song jam Rob kept teasing Coltrane's "Love Supreme" on his piano. It seemed like the "Love Supreme Jam" wove in and out of "TNK" and wasn't really a separate entity. Someone in the band (Warren?) chanted "a love supreme" two or three times" and then Molo kicked in with the drum pattern for TNK one last time. The jam then turned rockin' and we got a great Mason's Children with a hot Rob piano solo. And that was set 1.

I turned to my friend and said "how are they gonna top that?" I figured set 2 would be a let down. I'd be proven wrong of course...

during the set break I couldn't find my friend Kerri or Damon (Verve12) from the zone but I did see Grateful Dan at the Wharf Rats table.

Set two took the energy even further. A spacey tuning gave way to the great Shakedown I'd hoped for and the Tower became a disco club for a few minutes. There was a lot of movement in my row which was kind of annoying. a bunch of people seemed confused as to where their seats were but by the end of Shakedown the 3 seats next to me were vacant (and stayed that way for the rest of the show) so I had plenty o f dancing room though the slanting slippery floor made it hard to remain upright at times. A singalong Wheel followed Shakedown during which Phil dropped a bomb that made the whole place cheer. The jam after the Wheel was really interesting. It started out with a samba-esque feel (as in the Latin dance style, not the Vince tune) that gave way to Jimmy and Rob playing what sounded like teases of "Leave Me out of This" (my friend and I love that tune so we were hoping to hear it since it hasn't been played all tour if i remember correctly) The jam then abruptly turned bluesy before giving way to a monster Cold Rain and Snow. Just before leaving for the show I'd been listening to the great 7/15/02 Scranton version. I'll have to compare the recordings soon but this version might have topped it. Warren really came alive during this one and Jimmy caught fire. They hit the duel guitar phrases perfectly. Me and the pretty older blonde woman next to me were both dancing hard and shaking our heads in dervish dance fits. As the jam got out there, Rob took a pretty solo while Molo played some disco-sounding drums. The unlikely combination worked well. The band then did a quiet decresendo-ing vocal return that sounded almost like a fade out. I figured the tune was over. They jammed on and I figured things would start evolving into the next tune when all of a sudden they busted loudly back into the melody of Cold Rain. It took me by surprise and had me dancing again. One of my favorite moments of the night. I then slapped my friend five as Cold Rain segued into Midnight Train (the first of the tour?) just like I called it before the show. This is one of my favorite tunes though it seemed to be others' "sit down or go for a beer run" tune. Jimmy or Warren (or maybe both) took a hot solo with some near-fanning like fast guitar work. Rob played with a piano tone throughout unlike the last times I same them play it when he did it with a 70s keyboard tone.

The jam out of Midnight Train was dance-y with a samba-esque feel again. I thought Scarlet or Fire was coming next but we got the always sudden/unexpected intro of Help on the Way as the whole place erupted in cheers.
During Help/Slip! Phil dropped 2 tasty bombs that elicited cheers. The Slipknot jam melted down into spacey territory and Rob started playing the "under eternity blue" part of Blues For Allah. I was really hoping they'd play the whole tune since theyhaven't done it in 2 years (11/8/01). Me and the kids behind me cheered for it but instead the jam evolved into the always rockin' GDTRFB. It didn't disappoint and Warren threw in a verse about being in jail that I don't remember them doing before. Molo started thundering on his tom drums and then the band busted into the party-licious Golden Road. We all danced and had fun. I danced so much my feet started getting sore. Phil ended the tune nicely with a bonus bomb!!!!

Before the encore, Phil introduced Molo as playing "FUCKING drums." Mr. Lesh seemed really happy and enthusiastic about the intros.
For the encore I expected a Franklin's from a cold start as they've done before so I was happily surprised when Phil counted it off and the band launched into Slipknot! again (the first time they ever cold-started Slip?) Molo was seething and the energy was high. But everyone in the band wasn't on the same page. Jimmy kept playing the intro riff as Warren began playing the next section and for a moment there was a bit of discord. But they got back in sync. For the outro Jimmy seemed to playt he riff more than anyone else in the band expected and then everyone exploded into a blissful Franklin's. I danced all out since I knew this would be the last tune. Some tour rat looking kids near me stood almost motionless during it. I couldn't understand it. The music made me move as if I had no choice in the matter. Maybe the PLQ was just their 2nd choice after getting shut out of Phish at the Spectrum. Jimmy soloed really enthusiastically. He even ran a couple times right into the verses so that Phil's vocal entrance sounded a bit sloppy. This wasn't the tightest version of Franklin's I've heard but it was certainly one of the most energetic and the perfect encore.

The music ended and I floated out of the Tower on a cloud wondering 3 things: how were they gonna top that for Sunday? would some of the guys from Phish show up to jam with Phil at the Tower tomorrow? and where would I find a ride up to Albany for Monday's Phish show.

i have to agree, it was a pretty damn good show.

i, however, got stuck sitting in front of the two most obnoxious fans in the building. They talked during much of the show, were singing loudly and horribly, and spilled beer all over my coat.

it was a fun time anyway, but it's hard to shut out shit like that.
another thing i don't get is how people can just sit in their seats for the whole show (i mean the whole show). there were numerous people around me just sitting there.

Anyways, looking forward to tonight. How are they going to top the last two nights???

666 - Pretty DEAD ON review. Guess it helps to take notes.

Keeps getting better, imho.....but then again I LOVE AGAIN AND AGAIN. (bucky - I was thinking of you....knowing that after the PLAYINjamCHINAcatPLAYINjam you would be expecting....or wanting, well, NOT - - - Again and Again. I was LOVING IT. The new songs, the TABA songs....well.....they don't seem "NEW" anymore. They fit the band, the audience (well, OUR part of the audience HEH HEH) digs them.....THEY RAGE. How wonderful. In My OPINION...those songs so deserve it. Last Night....the 1000 stars, the NMDI....tonight....the A&A, and even the Midnight Train, which admittedly has grown on me. Blade Runner Bardo -- YOU GO PHIL. Anyway, Bucky, hope there was room for enjoyment.)

It felt like a ROB show, although it is always OF THE BAND. Rob came out playing some classical fugue or somesuch as they tuned up. He did great raging solos and sang divinely.

The WHISTLER. OH....mes amis, I was thinking of you. HE WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. For Real. Some over 40, bearded, fairly well groomed gent who was BOOZIN. I became acutely aware of him during Comes A Time. Most beautiful....so poignant for me this song....and the guy is screaming the lyrics ahead of Warren, like CUEING him -- WHEN HE WASN'T SHOOTING OFF AN EAR PIERCING WOLF WHISTLE. During COMES A TIME!!!!!!!! I shoot him evil stares. I look for my comrades to do the same. They are ignoring him.....trying to wish him away. I'm fantasizing getting a bunch of Zoners there during the second set to exact justice, broken bones included. A couple of times I grab my baseball hat in rage and pound it into my other fist. He hits me with his flailing arms as he twists about. I GLARE. Finally I know the Whistler is going to split in a second.....I hear him shaking the ice in his empty drink. As he leaves the row I see a guy whisper in his ear.

I lean over to him.
"I hope you told that guy to shut the fuck up."
He looks at me askance.
"Oh, is he your buddy? Look, I'm sorry, that whistle is just Out Of Control."
"Yeah, it's some whistle."
(What you're PROUD OF THIS!?!?)
After a second he leans back to me....
"It's a story you can tell your grandchildren about."
"DUDE. I'm going to tell 12 people at set break who are going to come here and kick your buddy's ass."

I let this rest.

The Whistler returns. More drinks.

Next thing I know he's lighting a bowl for a girl in the row behind him. HUGELY obvious. I say under my breath - because this is WHAT'S HAPPENING....
"I want to get kicked out of the show."

AND IT HAPPENS!!!!
Suddenly 3 ushers are all over him with flashlights. He tries to slime out of it....but none of us are giving him any support.....I'm actually waving goodbye, very subtly. I turn to my neighbors. They smile.

End note. His buddy got tossed later for trying to light a cigarette with a match, which he had all blazing. I feel bad....I gave him the matches but HELLO HELLO HELLO.

First, the buddy offered me a cigarettte when we took our seats. I said....NO WAY - I wouldn't even dare.
He shrugged.

OKAY - cig smokers?!?! GO OUTSIDE. His cigs didn't really bother me (though the potential was there) but the REAL POINT is your smoldering cigs are making it HARDER for us to toke quickly on a pipe. You're ruining it for everyone. Control your jones or go under the marquee. We pot smokers can't do that.....enjoy your freedom.

And this is the other thing. My dear friends, SMOKING POT IS ILLEGAL. I know it's a shock, and you're at a GD related show, and it shouldn't be illegal.....but IT IS. Point being.....BE STEALTH. People are getting tossed from this venue for smoking and it's RIDICULOUS. Keep your head down, cup your hands....and YEAH DOOD, it ain't the WARFIELD - the days of passing fatty js and huge ass glassies is NOT HAPPENING HERE. Don't get tossed from a show for being an idiot.

k. fair warning.

other random notes....(more will surely follow)
It's funny being in elevators with heads and realizing that, actually, they probably AREN'T there to see Phil, they came for PHISH. Apparently Phish "smoked" last night, or so they allll said..........and when I mentioned I was here for Phil ("oh? Where's Phil playin?")...well....I may have mentioned that shows are KICKASS.

No more talkin it up though......send the kids HOME
:-O

Saturday must be drunken oaf night in Philadelphia-I had a herd of them show up late, crowd in behind me, and start jabbering about what the band played the night before, which bar to go to after the show...I gave them my 'I paid to hear the band, not you guys' speech & the biggest oaf asked where I was sitting, claimed I was in HIS seat, shoved into my chair and splilled beer on my tweed jacket (ick)...Luckily guys like them don't have much stamina and spend alot of their time in line for the urinal...so I bailed and wound up 5th row in front of Barracco again.( There IS one security lady in the L/C aisle who's actually been having fun at the shows and being nice to losers like me who insist on being in the wrong seat most of the time- where can we get more of them?)

Also I gotta' laugh at this Chris dude thinking that Phil is screwing up intentionally to make a statement on Garcia and Weir..how incredibly fanboy can one get?

hey Huck, where were you sitting? I was on the floor L/C OR row J seat 108. I heard a whistler too off towards the center aisles. It would've been too difficult climbing over people to get to him to tell him to hush so I was happy when mysteriously the whistles stopped after Comes A Time. I wonder if this was the same guy.

Yup Dan, sure was nice running into you at the Wharf Rats table. Maybe I'llsee you atthebreak again tonight. Is OBIE a Wharf Rat? Do you know how I can get one of those "WhoNeeds Bobby Anyway?" stickers? from him.

everyone should say hello if you see me tonight. I'll be wearing a blue simpsons Phish shirt and a black bandana around my neck with an SYF pin. I'm a handsome 24 yr old with shaggy brown hair, you know the deal :-) i'm upstairs tonight: R/C lg row JJ seat 17.

Wiley and Scarlet. No words. At All. We said them all...I think. :-) Oh, maybe 4 more. I love you guys.

MY show.....well, I was thinking all about interpersonal dynamics.
PLAYIN. Of course. But it was a weirds playin with HUGE minor (oxymoron?) overtones. Creepy, almost.
China Cat. Remember the FUN. I always think of Hunter all dosed out writing this. It is INDEED about the FUN. "ovvvvvver my back!!!!!'
Again and Again. Depending on Others. "to prop up your soul....like she did......."

RAMBLE ON ROSE. The road, the ramble....and the Frankenstein line is FOR ME always about Philzone now. I hoot for it (no one does but me) and I think of YOU.

COMES A TIME. Click in, freak. The blind man.....with true sight.....and as the Whistler loses himself in his own whistles....I wonder if he's an example of "the day when you can't feel at all." SHUDDDDDDDER. yikes.

Then the Tomorrow Never Knows. FULL ON OM CHANT TO START. and then all mixed up with A Love Supreme!!!!

>>Love is all and love is everyone
>>It is knowing, it is knowing

Oh MAN did this all meld BRILLLLLIANTLY. and Lites NAILED it on the way home in the cab.....the love axis for THE CITY OF BROTHERLY LOVE!!!!!!!!!!! indeed.
A high point.

And perhaps the best Mason's EVER. And the one in Boston was HOTTTTTTT!!!!! It's almost like they are clued into that thread we had going about how Mason's does or does not click for folks....and they are trying to show us the force of Mason's.

It was stupendous.

UPPER DARBY SUCKS ASS!!! ... I would hate to see what Lower Darby is like.... What is illegal and what is not is irrevelant to the way the security and cops stared down everyone! I did nothing, and I am well-dressed, clean cut, and good mannered. I watch the cops check everyone for any signs that they may be holding or using. The usher were unbelieveably terrible ... hassling alse patrons for stepping ONE foot in to the walkway, only to let everyone clog it up when the $6.00 a/beer girl walked by to sell the smallest cups of beer I have seen yet. The jerk usher also keep his flashlight on most of the time like some traffic cop, even when it wasnt needed. Smoking or not... there is a time when you yell at someone and say "Put it out"...not "Your under arrest." I could go on and on but I am too pissed off. FUCK YOU TOWER!!!

The show was good, but weak in spots. Sorry to hear Warren wasn't feeling well .. he did a great job anyway!

I will never go to the Tower ... again WORSE THAN HERSHEY!!! ( Could have been a cool place with the right kind of management ... too many assholes with positions of power )

Tower doesn't suck -- the Electric Factory sucks. I enjoyed the Tower - plenty of room - good concessions - pretty comfortable all around.

I just thought these guys didn't have it going on so strong last night. There was nothing remotely close to matching the intensity of Friday night's second set. I like a Midnight Train - but not in the "clean up" hole in the second set - kind of killed the momentum. Same with Again and Again - like the tune but why so early in the first set? A+A>Ramble on Rose>Comes a Time? Can we pick it up a notch?? And I really wouldn't mind if I never heard Wheel again from these guys - boring!! And the GDTRFB - I guess for Warren who HAD to be feelin' bad considering he seemed to be a bystander last night. That show was aching for a Viola sandwich or a Cumberland or SOMETHING to get us going. Just too slow for my liking. Thankfully - we've got tonight!!

Go Eagles!!!

AMEN. while the no smoking rule is a hassle and the security is a little heavy handed at times (and gloved LOL), the venue itself is spectacular.

>>And I really wouldn't mind if I never heard Wheel again from these guys - boring!!
i wouldn't mind either. what a yawner. cumberland would have been a perfect jam for the second set last night. where the F was it???

and for the record, the is no such place as "Lower Darby". thankfully.

GO BIRDS!

FRED AND I CAN TOP THIS...HE WAS BUSTED ANd THROWN OUT FOR DISCREETLY HOLDING AN EMPTY OBJECT IN THE MENS ROOM. Thank you Mr. LessThan for passing on the message to Rev. Bud, and the one kind security guard who came and got me from my seat.

Evan, the Tower sucks, big and bad. The security searching me both nights grabbed much more than they should, were rude, and invasive. Not returning unless there is no option, again.

Lots and lots of folk kicked out before the first set ended.

Huck, the Comes A Time from the left front was stirring, and rich and beautiful and occured 5 months to the day from Joan's across the river.

On the bright side, my hotel manager moved us to a most glorious suite this morning...
Thanks again LT.

Much bigger thanks to my bestest friend who I am so very in love with. I am having the smiliest of weekends because of you.

i didn't see all the security issues that you guys saw. We were on the left side of the theatre, and people were smoking and the ushers just asked them to stop. They tried clearing the aisle but it wasn't happening so they didn't try too hard.
The one usher lady was a head, and said she decided to get paid to see shows after paying for her first 300 shows. Said she saw them when they were the warlocks. she was very cool and very nice and was enjoying the show very much.
can't wait for tonight.

Six Six Six...

Nice, but you missed the eight or so bars of Viola ....

Jam->Playin' Tease->Jam->Viola Tease->China Cat->Jam w/Rider Tease(ish)->Playin' Jam->Jam->Again and Again

At the end of the first set, during thunderous applause Phil goes back to his mic, takes out his earplugs and says "wow", take these things out and you all are loud...which garnered three more rounds of thunderous applause. Rob checked out the audience right after that from the left side door and threw some smiles and waves out.

I'm not one to complain much, but that TOWER place can kiss my ass. I'll be back tonight, but I may not be there throughout the show. Nothing about the entire venue, except for the beautiful woman at my side, had any appeal to me.

And security, they were a bunch of rude fucks. If you're heading thay way tonight, be careful.

<<- pretty comfortable all around.

Are you joking?

You must like someone up your ass 24/7!

I was IN MY ASLE SEAT all nite, never in the walkway unless to move quickly for someone to bail, and the USHER flashed his lite in my face and said "Where's your ticket."

Fuck HIm and Fuck the management of the Tower.

Sure, the place looks cool ... nice designs on the wall .. TV mirroring in the hall ... but the people make the place, .. and that includes mangement / security / etc...

You treat people like shit, and you get a bad review. It is simple.

Maybe I wasn't in the front row, like some of you privlidged heads who can forget "the waterfall over my back" where they carried off Mason's children one by one.

Places like that make me sick.

City of Brotherly Love, my ass...

Anyone catch the Bros. selling Crack at the Waterford? Is that what it means to be stealth?

Goodbye Jack, Jill, and the Tower.....

if you are basing your opinion of my wonderful hometown solely on the behavior of some asshole security guards than it is worthless anyway
let's be at least a little fair here, OK?

>>>Anyone catch the Bros. selling Crack at the Waterford? Is that what it means to be stealth?
now that is funny. one of those "Bros." asked me if i needed anything. when i explained to him that i was on probation and driving home alone after the show he replied "then why the fuck are you going to see the grateful dead?". priceless.

if the "security" at the waterford consisted of the bartenders and waitstaff, do you really need to ask what it means to be stealth in that place?
safe to say that you could have done just about anything you wanted in there.

Waterford <--

True, the bartenders did hear all sorts of things, but at $3.00 a beer ( which may be a inflated price ) they could have cared less.

Phil & Phriends should have played there! ( I know it's impossible )

See....

Anyone that says, "Oh, you should not be doing anything illegal.." has not seen what I saw last nite.

Ignorance must be bliss!, at least at these shows.

Someone should tell management and Phil's production company.

There was too many uncalled for actions against people that didn't deserve it ... almost like hatred.

Show me some concern about things like these, and credentials from management and I would gladly spend the time to detail the nite to make things better.....other than that this is my last post on the Tower.

He's gone...

Bucks County and surrounding has always been populated by nasty Nazi cops...too much damn money and inbred patrol boys.

WHAT A WEEKENED IN PHILLY!!!!
I just returned to Maine after a long, hot, packed bus ride from Boston.....drove all night from Philly>Boston after a KICK ASS show! Cowboy Fritz at the wheel....LOL

The high energy of the show was just what I needed....I met and hung with so many zoners it was truly the added bonus to the Q.

the COMES A TIME was niiiiice and the Ramble on Rose (good call Fritz!) I enjoyed the whole show.

Phil's enthusiasm is contagious, lots of smiles, laughing and damn, I think Phil was gettin a little boogie on at times....

Rob is a maniac on the keys!!! I love it, put a pep in my boogie step and I was already dancing my ass off.

The Zoners had me smiling laughing and DRINKING all weekend...met so many and I am so beat that I dare make a list for I would miss someone....so HUGS to all of you....see ya down the road...

off to bed!

Help>Slip>Blues for Allah quote/jam>GDTRFB...

also, I believe Phil sang the words "A love supreme" one time, warren once and Barraco maybe twice just prior to Warren reprising the third verse to Tomorrow Never Knows, I'll have to listen to that again.

Jimmy might need to get it together a little bit before NYC,judging the Franklin's, I don't know, it looked like he missed the beat, very uncommon for him...Warren, however busted out some very cryptic Jerry sounding notes throughout the slipknot pre gdtrfb
First Night there was a full on Caution Jam out of Alligator, everything but the lyrics

Just a word for sixsixsix Sebastian>>
for the record, slip>franklin's encore has been done @ red rocks 8-31-2.
thanks for your opinion EVAN about The Wheel. I gotta say I can't believe it, but hey, hope YOU never hear it again. BUT It's THE WHEEL. It's a staple of Phil & Friends. imho, it's one of the Q's best. Every version is interpretted differently, chorus' & bridges done beautifully. for me it's like hearing IKYR. how many times must i hear it? will every verse continue to tear @ my emotions & lead me down the path of reflection?
I hope i hear every tune P&F has ever done @ least 2 more times. I will admit though, i hope I never hear Sugaree to end a show! & what's up w/ Mtn JAm>Blue Sky?? Holy SHit!!!!

ummm No, i wonder how many people spit up when they read that? ;)

>Do you know how I can get one of those "WhoNeeds >Bobby Anyway?" stickers? from him.

i put them up at all the shows i go to and if you happen to run into me i hand them out. not many left of the 1000 i had printed in july 2002, i hear there maybe a couple available on ebay.

hey Huck, where were you sitting? I was on the floor L/C OR row J seat 108. I heard a whistler too off towards the center aisles. It would've been too difficult climbing over people to get to him to tell him to hush so I was happy when mysteriously the whistles stopped after Comes A Time. I wonder if this was the same guy.

Yup Dan, sure was nice running into you at the Wharf Rats table. Maybe I'llsee you atthebreak again tonight. Is OBIE a Wharf Rat? Do you know how I can get one of those "WhoNeeds Bobby Anyway?" stickers? from him.

I was there, got 2nd row left center (directly in front of Jimmy) tix from GDTSTOO, met another zoner who got tix the day before from ticket master 1st row! Thought it was a great show, though being that close, we were blasted out by Jimmy, Warren looked a bit ill to me, he didn't seem to be playing well, could be that Jimmy was so loud it drowned out Warren.

I stuck around a bit after the show and the crew gave out the set lists to fans who asked. There was this one woman who was trying to get Robs autograph and flashed her tits to him to no avail.

Others had posted about no smoking, well there was plenty of smoking where I was and no security problems at all....

The mens room in the basement was a real pigsty....

Had a real good time, hope to catch up with other zoners at future shows.
