Nutty night with Kreutzmann, Burbridge and Murawski with occasional help from Gordon at Pearl Street in Northampton MA; apparently Mike Gordon engineered this deal. Wild jams interspersed with GD tunes, reggae numbers, et cetera I counted about a dozen tape rigs, so I guess this will circulate.Lots of Latin stylings, Oteil bass/scatting and gnarly guitar shredding Started around 9:30 and went till 2 am!
Cool!
They absolutely tore it up last night! Only a few rough spots in the beginning and those were minor. Almost 4 hours of music with Billy, Scott and Oteil smiling the whole night. Power trio playing an amazing blend of rock, jazz, reggae stylings. Mike Gordon joined in for a few numbers and the encore. Highlights included spectacular versions of Mercury Blues,Estimated Prophet, Yellow Moon and Eyes of the World. This old man had to leave when the clock hit 1:30 and they were still going strong. Let's hope this trio plays a few more gigs down the line.
Can't wait to hear it - sounds like a good 'ol time!
I guess I can cross reference~

Very cool scat-dominated take of Cruel World > Yellow Moon
Thanks John!

this show rocks!!!...the neumann matrix (second set only) is very nice. The Estimated thru Mas Y Mas is some of the best music I have downloaded for awhile. Lucky folk who attended...
