it got bumped for a Kayne West acoustic set

Any trusty reporters out there?

I heard that they came on later than scheduled and played a good 90 set. Phil played a new bass and all of the tunes were filled with soaring harmonies presumebly helped by Teresa Williams. I didn't get a set list he said that they did Tell Me Mama, Lorena, the Louven Bros Running Wild, and Dead tunes Deal Fennario, Ripple, Brokedown Palace and Dire Wolf. There were many more songs that he couldn't remember.

He did say that Robert Randolf started a "Kanye West Suck chant" the spread to all of the other stages including Phil's and Widespread's. There was something quite appropriate in hearing what the fans thought.

I don't even like Kanye and that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Randolph is on my shit list if this true.

I think it's great if it's true. Kanye dicked a lot of people over and deserved to be called out for it.

But acoustic Phil was "presumably" helped by Teresa Williams?? Puh-lease, the woman has a lovely voice! I never even knew What's Become of the Baby HAD a melody until I heard her sing it at the Warfield.

i liked this set a lot. great place to hang out in the shade and dance on a sunday afternoon! in addition to what's already mentioned above, they played: friend of the devil, deep elem blues, and sing me back home. also, phil said at the end to expect this line up to do some "stealth shows" together in the future because he loves playing these old songs that sound so good played on acoustic instruments.

highlight of Roo for me. Thigs are still a bit hazy but I'll add to the set list with Deal, Gone Wonderin, Cry Yourself Dry, Driftin to Far from the Shore...

Kanye was ridiculously stupid...... The crowd and the theatrics were the funniest part of the whole thing....... Music where was it????? He was all about himself.... He aint notin but a gold diggin misguided fool..... Didnt start til 4 30 and phil could ripped his whole show........... Bonnarro should learn from this cause we know what really happened...... by the way the setlist should read like this......

brokedown last song of the set. dire wolf encore. great show, phil didn't care the roo wanted to cut him off after the debacle the night before and kept playing until he felt finished.
