tonights set 1 is up
Taperrob....for some reason live 365 loads completely normal then....silence. Says orlando 1st set is playing but I don't hear it. And the station isn't full, or whatever. Just thought I'd mention it, see if any one else experiences the same thing. I've tried reloading my browser and other tricks to see if anything happens, but nada. I was listening to the miami streams for a couple hours earlier....
thanks Taperrob for the live365 station.
joe
JOE i don't know why it wouldn't work for you as i am streaming the first set now and it is working fine for me. Maybe there is some sort of flash player or something that you don't have installed but i doubt that. sorry no help
it isn't working here eithe, fwiw
set two is about to start on the stream
the streams are not working
actually they restarted set one over again///i guess until set 2 is uploaded or something. sounds great.. killer bertha
to add some more color, the ads prior to the show will play, then it goes radio silence.
I am listening to "Roses" now 11.01 pst. works great.
Reuben and Cherise was totaly out of sight.
I've sufficiently recovered from last night enough to piece a review together, I think.
My mother and father attended the show with my wife and I. They've been seeing the boys since '71 or so, and my father's first comment when leaving the show was "It's about fucking time those boys remembered who they were!"
For myself, I come from a generation that never got to see Jerry. This was something I thought was lost to history and never thought I'd get to experience. Skull-fucked indeed.
Phil looked joyful like a little kid who was continually amazed by his own surroundings. I've never seen him that animated.
John...when he sings, he looks like he's enraptured. He exuded humility and gratitude. It seems to me that he understands what an honor it is to be doing what he's doing right now.
Show highlights:
First set was solid all the way through. All of it seemed on point. Each song stripped away a layer of tension from my psyche, with each consecutive song getting deeper and deeper. With all that tension gone, the second set could get to the meat of the issue.
Wharf Rat - Very cathartic. The bridge part with the vocal lines "I know that the life I'm living is no good" was a collective release of energy. It was a communal acknowledgment that in day-to-day life we can't always live in a way that strictly adheres to our value. This acknowledgment moved a lot of that associated karma around.
The Wheel - very beautiful. Very flowing in some moments.
Cryptical and The Other One - Fuck yes!
Wow! An intelligent and thoughtful review from someone who can actually piece together a few thoughts and write a sentence! Fuck yeah, THANK YOU.

Stream is up on http://ohkeepahblog.blogspot.com/ and the Live Music Archive.
Wasnt there but the show sounds pretty good!..Just hopin I dont hear Phil attempt to mumble his way through another "Time" ever again. That was just plain awful.
Glad Florida got some good lovin'. I had a blast on that part of the spring tour in Miami back in '94, of coarse except for Orlando. Glad they healed those bad vibes last night.
Does anybody have any knowledge of any sbd's up on the net yet from miami or orlando? The aud's were put up awful fast i'm just wandering when the sbd's will show up.. Nothing on demonoid yet which is where i usually look, along with etree. Or if anybody at the shows got sbd copies and is willing to rip them it would be most awesome.
The shows keep getting better in Florida.
I have commented some many times about the sincerity of the band and how they really enjoy playing for us Florida heads. Perhaps they will read this post and the next time have a 5 night run. Or perhaps 3 in Miami/Boca and 3 in Central FLA. The stand-outs for me was the really tight Viola Lee jam in Miami. In fact the 2nd set in Miami was over the top. Orlando was just another great show with really high energy. Phil HI FIVEN Bobby after Masterpiece goes to show that everything is all good. I am so jealous that my kids are growing up now and my daughter will be catching 2 shows on this tour in Boulder. BTW just like you guys miss us, we also miss U2. Nothing left to do but SMILE SMILE SMILE
HAPPY 70TH Phil. It was a GR8 weekend.

Randy
Quite a nice show. Not on the level of Miami, but I think that would have been really hard to do. I just now found out that they did OMSN! Missed that standing in line to get in. (Miami didn't have a first set; it had 2 second sets... I like that!)
Highlights for me: Rubin and Deal just cranked in set one. After Midnight was spectacular, as was Althea. A couple nice full-throttle Phil bombs to open Other One. Wheel was really nice, as always. Bid G'night was fantastic (but I was surprised it came so early... how long was that second set?)
Lowlight: Bobby's voice was totally shot for the end of the show. He could barely yelp at all for GDTR and the encore. Touch was painful during his parts.
Again, nice solid show. This is a great band.
Brian,
Sbds will not show up, the only sbds to get are from the band themselves
ok, that's what i though but i had found sbd's from the other shows at demonoid. but legally i know what you mean, they're only available at the shows themselves, thanks beardear.
You can purchase the sbd's at livedownloads.com I don't think the first shows have been posted yet though.
BZL (BZLRBI)
To make a negative comment you must be exactly PAINFULLY perfect. Love to hear how you'll sound after 19 songs at 62. Ship of Fool.
That Deep Elem sounds great. Fuck yeah! I especially like the vocal mix, especially with the girls singing backup and the crowd helping out on the chorus. Nice work from Chimenti and the band all around. Definitely a highlight.
Ok, if I wasn't sold on JK before (which I was anyway) that After Midnight sealed the deal.
Must...book...summer...tour...
Well Frank, your comments are a lot more negative then anything he said in an honest review, so who's full of negativity?
After Bid You Goodnight, I turned to my friend and said 'this is whyI keep going'. What a great show. It reminded me of the shows of the old days. I loved watching Phil and Bobby interact. Phil was happy and you could just tell he was enjoying himself greatly. I always loved watching Jerry interact with the guys.
Super show. Nice venue. Lots of space to hang out and dance. I loved being able to get outside for fresh air.
Yep... this is why you go see the boys..
btw - for future reference - go out on the upstairs balcony - there is a bar that is shared with the VIP seating area - no line!!!
