Real good Mule show last night. Beautiful outdoor venue in a park in Western Ct State College campus. Wood pavilion stage with a pond and fountain behind it. Great weather and good sound. Not a big crowd, surprising for a Sat. night, though the venue is kinda out of the way. It was Rose Hill Drive opening. Not a bad power trio, sounds like 70's retro stoner power trio rock and roll.
Mule was very good, all the guys playing well, good sound mix and could hear the keyboards well where I was, I like Mule with keys. Lots of tapers. Started a little low energy but got good by Fool's Moon. Liked the choice of covers and some well played originals. Got to meet up with some old friends and some zoner freaks on a great summer night of music. Here's the setlist:
