We had a fabulous time at the JG Amphitheater, great spot, great cause, great friends and good good music. Thanks to all that make it happen.
Nice shots Canyon!
thanks Sue, I think the quote of the day was "Wow they are just like DSO but you have 30 more dollars for beer" overheard during the Workingman Ed's set.
looks like lots of fun!
lovely day...
>>"Wow they are just like DSO but you have 30 more dollars for beer" overheard during the Workingman Ed's set.
that and the beer was free
and stu's voice can be haunting
major zone representation - twice a year would be better
thanks canyon you always come through with the pics.
Canyon...nice pics. The crowd on the hill shot looks like it could have been taken a long time ago. Was that Jackie and Gloria singing with JGB? Definately not the girls we saw in June at Humbrews.
^^^Purp -- my thoughts exactly. Sure looks like Jackie & Gloria to me. Very cool!
I don't think it was Gloria & Jackie
but new singers for sure
It's Shirley and Cheryl, not Gloria and Jackie.
Thanks everyone for coming out! What a fantastic day in the park! I agree...twice a year would be even better! Tom????
Anyone spot the Cubs shirt on the drummer above?
Welcome, Carrie!
Bravo !!!!!!!
Here ya go...
Clearly, that didn't work...
Damn.
Just imagine Mark with a huge grin/Cubs shirt.
Love ya Peter (and Mark), but Gooooooo Giants!
What an incredible day at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater. The Workingman's Ed set sounded so great. The acoustic set offered a nice change of pace and sounded so sweet.. great mandolin playing. The JGB to finish the day with Stu Allen once again providing the perfect voice and chops, was a great way to play tribute to Jerry.
Jerry's music continues to spread the joy and sooth the soul.
Thanks you to all who helped make this day such a joyous one.
Long Live Jerry
Tom's not here maaaaan...
Anyone have setlists for the whole day? Still looking for JGB, Rothman and Allen, and "The Audibles"
