Just wanted to chime in on what a "freakin" good time I had at the DSO show in Richmond.Va, tonight. I hung with Stacey & Len & family ( Liberty and her GREAT family)........and just had a Great time!!!! They also introduced me to aother couple; Steve & Myrna who were both most excellent poeple, whom I hope to see again some day).).
I really need to get out to these events and broaden my horizons "so to speak"! It was just a blast and I want to thank them all....
Here was DSO's recollection of 11-22-85;
\ ---------------------------------------
11/22/85 (Fri) Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center - Oakland, CA
Set 1: Hell In A Bucket > Sugaree, Minglewood Blues > Althea, Cassidy > Dupree's Diamond Blues > Let It Grow
Set 2: Touch of Grey > Estimated Prophet > Eyes Of The World > Drums > Morning Dew > Throwing Stones > Lovelight, E: Brokedown Palace

It was a very entertaining show, I'm sure all there will attest to that. Look at that setlist.......is that incredible or what?????
Peace To All,
Martino
You're a regular dude about town these days, Martin. Any chance you're coming south for Phil and ABB?
Sorry dude.......cash flow is running real thin, and I have my last disgnated event of the year coming up in about 2 weeks....which is headed up in the other direction ( north that is! LOL).
Yeah, So far I've seen Phil & Friends, Dickey Betts w/Great Southern, and DSO last night. On Aug. 23rd.....if all goes as expected ( I hope, I hope), I should be in the pavillion in Camden , N.J. catching The Allman Brothers and Ratdog along with Capt. Bill, and Randle Bee.
That should about do it for me this year, but you never know Al. The ABB/ Phil combo sure looks like a good one, but for me to afford it this year....it'll just about have to be in my backyard with gas prices the way they are.
I was just thinking about it the other day. When I first started working at a Service Station back in aroung 76' I believe it was .49 cents for regular, and the hightest was a whopping .53 cents a gallon. Ohhhhhhh....the good "ole" days...
