Its been awhile since a band has taken me to a level that i did not know was capable. These guys blew me out of the water tonight. Bunch of songs off of Kid A...Everything in its Right Place...Good Lord...never seen them but they are an incredible band to go and see live.
People need to get more roudy. Very laid back crowd. Lot of boyfriend/girlfriend lovey dovey. Not enought people really into it. Just my take...
These guys from across the pond know how to play some music and when they were really into it, the music coming from that stage was something like ive never heard. discofunkish at times where you'd never expect it...
LOVE Radiohead!! Thanks for the review. I have tickets to see them at Hollywood Bowl on Aug 24 and 25. Then up to Santa Barbara Bowl on Aug 28. I don't miss them EVER when they are in the USA. They put on one of the best shows I've been to. Thanks again!!
How were the police for tailgating?
They were out in full force B Weir. Not too bad, but their presence was everywhere...even in the VIP parking area.
I really didn't expect anything less, more or less the same as the last time I was there, but I felt that there were certainly more Police patrolling the lot.
The crowd was different too, not roudy hippies getting loose. More of the EMO tight jeaned crying crowd.
By far, one of the best shows I've ever seen. I would put in the top 5, well that might be a stretch, but it was a damn good production.
As for tailgaiting, many grills set up with people chillin around drinking out of cups. Did not see anybody getting hasselled for setting up a grill and tailgaiting.
Literally saw absolutely nobody publically drinking out of a bottle, which is smart because that's how to get pinched.
Same as it ever was...

Yeah, pretty much the golden rule of the Great Woods lot scene. Just drink out of a cup, and no hassles.
Glad you enjoyed the show, too. The review I read was awesome.
