Freaks abound at every turn...
Lots of hopers, for sure. Anyone know if taperrob's in attendance?
I believe that Taperrob attended the recent stealth shows. That is an indication that he is there for the weekend as well.

Wow! Wish I was there with y'all! getting stoned and listening to good 'ol grateful dead music in the foothills. Enjoy the weekend! be sure to were sunscreen and condoms! LOL!
kewl.
thanks for the updates, sincerely. i've been groovin' lately on the i-todd to the 12.30.01 scarlet. but the dix pix 18 scarlet > fire is always a fave. what am i saying--everything played becomes the fave at that point that i'm hearing it usually.
what a blessing this band is.
keep it up. again: still praying for a stream if at all possible please and thank you thank you.
guessing a gathering with this much GD phans in attendance may well stir the weather to change a bit out there as it did at the family reunion and and the TOO shows in fall '02, etc. this phenomenon is nothing new to this choir, the energy & community expressed, among other things, does that.
They opened the show with The Eleven into Eyes.......
Really fun night cold but fun...........
added bonus was seeing basically the last version of Phil and Friends do a smokin Viola> New speedway, Seeing Phil with Larry and jackie again was really nice...........also a nice Peggy'o with Theresa singing too.......
Did the Larry/Jackie thing happen on the main stage? Who played drums & keys?
have a great day zoners!!!
A buddy of my just posted on fb that the sound, and jams, last night was exceptional.
Does this mean they have sweetened the rig for the entire tour?
I hope so.
Hopefully it warms up tonight for you all. What is the elevation of the show?
received brief after set jam reports involving phil, jeff, jackie, larry campbell, viola and new speedway...
sorry for the repeat...
how crowded is the site??

haha i forgot about the "My Favorite Things" teases they were throwing in at the end of Eyes before the transition into Dark Star.
Really nice 'soundcheck'. Started out a little rough, but really began to pick up after loose lucy...great Mr. Fantasy...the Scarlet was average, but the Fire & Let It Grow were smokin' hot. Towards the end I wandered towards the late night venue, got a nice spot in the front of the line. From there the GDTRFB sounded energetic and fun. The diminished sound quality for the end of the sound check paid for itself with prime position in front of Bobby and Jackie, no guard rails or security to be seen, and a nice level stage to put my beers and elbows on for the all star jam. Jackie, Mark Karan, and Larry Campbell were all on fire, as well as the rest of the gang. Never had a treat like this before, not going to hold my breath waiting for another.
