Mr. Dave was in fine form last night. As usual, he played a fine array of stringed instruments.
Partial setlist includes: Seminole Bingo (Zevon), Copperhead Road, Catfood Sandwiches, Play it All Night Long (Zevon), Meth Lab Boyfriend...
As always, he was very funny throughout. More later, if anyone cares...

I've seen Mr. Dave eight times now, in a variety of settings. sadly, I've only caught El Rayo-X once. Last night's show was the third time that he's played at the bar I work at part-time (The Zoo Bar).
He's always been cool about signing stuff and talking to folks. My buds and I usually wait until everyone else is out before approaching him so that we can get his take on a variety of topics.
For instance, last night, he talked to me about playing with folks as varied as Joe Walsh, Dolly Parton, and The blind Boys of alabama. Fun stuff!
and, oh yes, I've asked about his opinions of the godd old Grateful Dead...

O.K., Lindley lovers, here's a Freebie for ONE! It's a copy of Twango Bango II which has such great tunes as "National Holiday", "Jah Reggae", "Oh Death", "Meth Lab Boyfriend", and others. I have a psare copy since Dave himself gave me another autographerd copy for helping out at his how.
And don't worry-- this is NOT a copy (Dave doesn'tlike that!); it's the real deal.
First one to post here and e-mail me gets it!

His policy has usually been that if you copy it for someone, you should send him $5 to the address on the cd.
It's on TBIII, I'll just share the last part: "So, if you're going to make copies of this for your friends then send me $5 for each copy you make. If you can't afford it then forget about it. But if you can afford it then send the $5 to the PO Box. You'll feel better."

Actually, i'm sending out an extra print of the actual CD. I have two; I'm keeping the autographed one. I've never made copies of his stuff. Peace.
