great show
Band was on fire, sadly the crowd was too much, lots of chatting in the back, not enough room in the front, stinky wooks in the middle...
Roadhouse Blues was an interesting choice--they did it at High Sierra Late Night, and again at YarmonyGrass during the Joint Set...I'm surprised they'd bring it back out on the West Coast. I don't mind the repeat but after Yarmony, there were quite a few complaints about it being repeated...
Highlights for me were The Hunting Song, I'm always drawn to it's gruesomeness, and the Old Man and the Land, an appropriate follow up
I caught the Watson Twins from the rail, wasn't really expecting to like them, but they sorta grew on me. Their songs all sound the same, so I'm not sure I'd see a whole show but as an opening act, they were fun. One of their highlights, a slow cover of Just Like Heaven by the Cure.
