It was a total Kick ass show...
This is the best band out there...and they keep proving it over and over again
Just sick
if anyone is interested...I will write and actual review
Interested!
Never seen Creek, but got introduced to Murawski's guitaring with 3 and Mike Gordon Band shows earlier this year. He ripped me up both times. He's a new fave of mine.
listened to it the other day, sounded pretty good, a bit of chatter but no too bad. please tell them fellas were still waiting for their return trip to Northern California.
>>>Interested!
Well okay then...Sweet!
I have been seeing Creek for a long ass time. I was there when the drummers changed, Rob left the band, Rob came back, Scott had kids, the band broke up for a week (LOL) and then back..
In other words I have been down the road with this act
and Friday night was one of, if not the best, sets of Max Creek music I have had the pleasure of seeing and hearing.
They sounded much like the BIG players out there. They didn't have a little bar sound at all...it was a Crystal Clear BIG concert sound. I am a total sucker for that. Creek doesn't get the chance to play these big houses with Crazy sound too much. So when they do...for us fans...its a treat.
They went with just one Drummer Friday, Greg Vasso, and he was ON FIRE. I mean just FIRE. From what I saw and hear this kept the band rolling the whole show
3 hours and no break...just totaly Bliss
a few Older tunes...and from the Creek School I grew up in
BIG BOAT was over the top
JUST A ROSE and the reprise were SICK-O listen to the reprise....Scott is back a bit and doing things on his axe that sound like Gilmore on Steriods...
It was a great show. I don't know what the future holds for Max Creek. But lets just pray this goes for a bit, cause it REALLY feels like they are just getting it going again...
Once again...after over 900 Creek shows...
I am BLOWN AWAY
Check it out here....you will be happy you did

BRing on SCOTT!!!!!
Nice, Creek!
Thanks for the link too. . .
Thanks Bobby for the review.
WHen's the Utah tour?
HaHa
I miss them.
What do they do on the side to stay fiscally solvent? Cuz I remember when they used to it full time and all over the place then they melted down and broke up for a week and then they just went part-time. Is/was Mark a music teacher?
I'll stream that show tomorrow.
Great review, thanks!! I will definitely grab that show off the archive.
"get your ass out to a Creek show!" LOL
Yessir!! Rightaway, sir! :>
Thanks again
>>>What do they do on the side to stay fiscally solvent?
WEll...Scott seems to be another Warren buit is working harder
He has Max Creek, Three, The Mike Gordon band, and he wroks 40 hours a week! Geesh! I wish I could do all that!
I think Mark teaches music and plays with ANYONE he can
John Rider and Allshouse both have very busy and successful jobs. John had also taken' on another side project for now
and the rest...Hell I dunno....I wish I could still see them three times a week...That was it! It gave me something to look forward to everyday.
See ya as a Creek show yall!
Listening to 9-26-08 now. This business COOKS!!
Thanks for the link.
If they swing close enough to Baltimore, I will see ya at a show for sure.
Glad you are enjoying....I thought the show Cooked...for sure!@
A+ recording as well...

Haven't seen them in years since I have been in Colo since 92. Thanks for the link, looks like there are a few of the wed shows from 86/87. :-)
