Be good!
When do they start? Is anyone there?
Website says 9:30 but who knows.
I read there is a weather delay right now - here is the link for the live stream once it starts:
http://www.iclips.net/watch/all-good-festival-broa dcast
is anyone getting anything from iclips - it still says weather delay (sorry I am a first time user)
still delayed
The boys are gonna drag into Philly...bad
Are we sure Furthur will be on iClips? The iClips schedule did not show them earlier today.
I agree Phillip...poor planning on the back leg of the tour. Philly will be the 4th and 5th shows in a row and will make 9 shows in 10 days. Why do that? Then again these guys for the most part are off the sauce and just drink now. But one has to wonder... Show tonight will likely be one long set of two hours. The boys are saving their voices as seen in last nights second set with lots of instrumentals. I have to seriously question the tour manager for this planning perhaps finances are playing a role.
They have to be exhausted.
Gives them a chance to catch up from the 13 hour drive from the falls. Who booked those gigs back to back? And then a long hike to PA tomorrow? I'd be toast and I'm not 70 playing bass for 3 hours a night in the humidity!
The more that you give the more it will take...
Iclips site says "We are currently experiencing a weather delay. We ARE still filming and the transmission will be back online as soon as possible." so that leads me to think Furthur is playing now and they never intended to broadcast them but can't even transit the delayed broadcasts from the venue for the bands that previously played and were scheduled to be broadcast during this time slot. I don't think we get a Furthur stream tonight...
sunday will be the smoker, that is with no travel and some rest, cooler temps and low humity
Look for long jams and little singing tonight...ie could be good for the list sailor saint scarlet fire estimated sage spirit darkstar v2 etc... These guys are pros so the adrenaline and 45 years of touring experience will hel- shit 45 years of playing!!!!
word is the iclips crew was dosed and left the van...
franklins into darkstar on iclips chat
I'm hoping for a DSO stream at 9:15 PST, which was on iClips schedule and is from last night's show...
Does anyone know what's happening? Are they on stage or not? iclips or no?
first time trying iclips - not impressed
Here is alive stream, seems they are already four songs in
http://www.freshjamradio.com/

this just in: word from an "innie" on another board:
I got word that iClips.net is supposed to be streaming tonight's set
from the All Good Festival, but the site is currently reporting a
weather delay. Here's the link, in hopes they can get started soon:
<http://iclips.net/watch/all-good-festival-broadcas t>
i'm just passing this along, can't vouch for it myself, although i doubt the person saying it has any reason to make this up...
my bad that is the list from fresh jam...it is not live stream
I just found out lol sorry about the mix up, could still be a nice alternative?
Tom Thumb Blues just started
fresh jam only gives an error report
sound board sounds good
wouldn't some jerry be a better alternative, especially on the 15th anniversary of the last show?
possibly also or instead of- trying to confirm
After Midnite>>>> Estimated> Jam
You right about that Mandala Listened to 5/16/81 earlier today. Comes a Time is playing right now

will the real set list please stand up?
no shit!
now hearing "Furthur so far: After Midnite > Estimated - Just a little light >TJed" from another chatroom- ... flip a coin
I think I'm causing a chatroom feedback loop and being reported on my reports based on other reports- this is fucked up- a virtual worm hole man!
I'm gonna shut up and let the chips fall on their own later so don't blame me for any confusion beyond this point please
The setlist guessing game is almost as fun as watching iclips
8/6/82 scarlet>fire rocks
someone named spector1 on the iclips chat reports After Midnite>>>>>Estimated - Just a little Light>>>>Tjed>>>>> Roses ..Looks like Rain..
Don't quote me please
Now saying LLR after Roses
iclips guy says something may have been hit by lightning at the venue to trash the broadcast gear... but he can't get in touch with anyone at the venue.
My guess is iclips tried to work on it for a while and then was like ehhh, lets enjoy the show...can't really blame them.
I was just telling furthur base that "pinman" guarantees the set list...........
I ain't guaranteeing anything! (except that I might piss off Bucky at some point)
sweet birdsong vid over at http://gdvodcast.ning.com/ right now
Billy reminds me of Bill Murray at times...
iClips guy is full of shit as they're not going to be streaming Furthur.
Spector1 now reports: Furthur so far >>>> After Midnite >>>>> Estimated - Just a lil lite>>>> TJed >>>Roses!! >>LL Rain >>BE Women >> Big RR Blues
from iclips chat:
Furthur so far >>>> After Midnite >>>>> Estimated - Just a lil lite>>>> TJed >>>Roses!! >>LL Rain >>BE Women >> Big RR Blues
Iclips guy now says satellite is busted- waiting for a part- 8am tomorrow- all sets are being taped and will be rebroadcast later-
Spector1: "I think bobby is pissed. Said sumthin like .... Dont let anyone tell you what the fuck to do."
oh, sorry- Bobby pissed his pants saying don't tell me what the fuck to do
thats a lot of <<<<<goes-in-ta's>>>>>>
WTF?????
looks like a Weir's manager's set.
Brief message from d2k states is a painfully slow Bobby show................
So is there a second set, or is that all?
D-E-R_P
weird!? wat hapnd?
bobby

I saw this over at Ratboard and Deadheadland:

there were reports of bad weather in the arear last night
Fun show last night. There was a second set w/ terrapin, ripple, sug mags, GDTRFB -- uh, and more...
After midnite was fun, played fast.
oh wow..I'm glad I thought that it was a disasterous show due to weather....then I saw some Bobby hate come out and I said ..."oh fuck"...I love this band and my son is seeing them there for the first time...he is a hardcore fan of the Quintet and down on JK...had hopes that doses and this band would show him the Light
it was terrible weather...I was told heavy rains in mid day and 100% through 6am and then no more for the weekend
thanks for the updates!!
New phil song about rain sounded good. Loved the after mid played fast.
One complaint: JK sounded bad singing JALL - I love that song, but they needed warren or brent for the vocals.
Love my blackberry - this is fun zoning in my vw bus from allgood!
I'll take the lack of a cohesive setlist as an implicit good review ... kind of in the same way I can never take pictures or get on a phone at a show if I'm having a good time!
well im glad everybody a full show but there goes my terrapin call for tonight....i think the theme will be rain...so moorninnnngg fucking dripping wet dew tonight in philly...wooohooo my buddy just pulled into the driveway...see everybody tonight ciao
doee anyone have the list from last night?
So this is retarded... No full setlist given yet!?!?! Is everyone still in bed and have no phone reception??

They should let the backup singer guy take leads on more tunes- he was awesome on Time in Rochester- has a great rock n' roll voice- would be great on those Brent tunes.
Thanks pinman
nice second set.
super nice 2nd set..Colors of the Rain is SICK! They can really stretch that one out I bet...Maybe a Scarlet>Shakedown>Color of the Rain>Unbroken Chain>Terrapin>Other One>Cryptical>Dark Star>Cosmic Charlie
Pinman,
Folks in the other stuff folder are sayin there was a second set "So many roads", a "Looks like rain" and a "cumberland blues" encore before "ripple"
But as you noted last night "Don't quote me"!
I am just browsing around when I should be working. So this is all second hand.
wow. those are the songs I wanted to hear at Artpark!! No complaints, though. Artpark was awesome. Allgood looks allgood and better.
so weird that we are getting "different" set lists
in other stuff says cumberland !!! did they do this last nite, anyone ?? i was really hoping for a cumbie tonite
Looks like they did play cumberland blues
http://www.philzone.org/cgi-bin/discus/show.cgi?tp c=439459&post=12496164#POST12496164
It is West Virginia, people... Not particularly strong swimmers there... ...if ya catch my drift... People are still looking where they pitched their tents, walking around bumping into trees...
..kidding...
those miners deserved that Cumberland!

i really liked after midnight
i just got back for Allgood. The show was on fire. Bobby was amazing on Looks Like Rain. Absolutly amazing. So many Roads was awesome, as was the UJB, BEW. The terrapin station was the highlight of the night. What a great time! Give this show a listen, the sound there in the field sounded so good, better than the winter tour show I saw in Asheville at Thomas Wolfe. These guys are on fire! Fun Festival too.
I wuz there . pretty good show . But The night before DSO rocked the house ! made it hard for the boys to follow ! no shit . execpt John Mattson of DSO sang like crap on dew to bring them back to earth on there final song !! (sorry john)his Guitar playing rocked though!
anyway Further was a real sleeper during first set until brown eyed women where it picked up a bit .
man i wish bobby would stop singing songs like tennessee jed that way . phrasing all wierd .
second set terrapin was ok but jk kind a holding back a little (all night )???????
Then to end the show at 1:30 am with a fireworks filled ripple !!!! cool !
all in all the weekend was great too bad in my opinion that further was the weak link of the headliners. probly real tired cause that (stupid) tour schedual!!!! hint hint mrs. Lesh !!!!!!!!! (new york new york new york thats all I ever hear)
come south !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mike,
I'm not sure you saw the same show I saw. I thought it was absolutly amazing. The Looks like Rain alone was enough to make the entire show worthwhile, and they boys keep sounding better and better to me. Perhaps it was my mindframe, but I cannot wait to get this show onto my computer and back into my ears.
Amazing show, amazing doses, amazing venue. Started to rain during colors of the rain(which I really dig),and the terrapin>scarlet>fire was mind bending.
DSO's All Good Set was far superior to Furthur's in every way. I'm sure the majority of the 20k+ fans in the field for both shows would agree as well. Furthur was a sleeper at best.
not musically superior, just a dream set list. They knew they would have to do that to not get blown out of the water.
What are you guys talking about? Furthur made Darkstar look like a group of high school musicians.
This was by far the best set of the weekend.
I agree Jack Straw, thats what I'm saying. But DSO had a ball's out set list.
>>>DSO's All Good Set was far superior to Furthur's in every way
....and the girl with big fake tits dancing next to my wife(with her gorgeous real, bouncing, experienced boobs) had much better boobs.... BUT THEY WERE FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll take experience and pure genuine over perky, fake-n-fun ANY DAMN DAY!!!! Puuuu-Leeeeeeeeeez!
People need to fuggin' get real around here.
It's getting to be "Spinal Tap'ish" around this community
DSO played better than furthur, they played the music the way its supposed to be played. This was the weakest of the 4 furthur shows I've seen they seemed tired, and weren't playing together, the show had no energy or flow to it. there were moments of brightness like after midnight, so many roads, attics of my life and others. I didn't miss jay lane so much last on the 4th at nateva but friday I could feel the absence of the energy he brought to the band. Why the fuck would they not spread out their tour dates a bit phill is not young guy any more. That being said I dig the new lineup of furthur, they have figured out the back up vocals, at nateva they were doing amazing, beautiful, and psychedelic things with the back up singers, I love the edition of the male vocalist and joe russo can hold down the percussion by himself. If you thought their show at allgood was great i suggest you listen to december 13 at asbury park, nj (my favorite furthur show) there was a meteor shower that night.
I should also add that I may be influenced negatively by poor sound quality (I dont understand why it wasn't better if they used the same equipment all tour? DSO had way better sound at allgood) and the allhood crowd (large number of people not there for the music) in comparison to last weekends crowd in maine was a buzzkill.
>>>>>they played the music the way its supposed to be played
Holy shit, that is the most bizarre statement in the history of the grateful dead... "supposed"???? Who the fuck are you?!?!?!?!?
jerry is rolling in his grave on that pitiful comment...
Matt, I suggest you go on tour with DSO... and then we will film a Spinal Tap style mockumentary about your thoughts on how they blow away the real band....... wow...
dude.. who the fuck are you? the music is supposed to be played with energy, the band is supposed to be having fun. When the band is on the crowds feeds off their energy and the band feeds off the crowd, it wasn't happening at allgood on friday. The boys were tired, and half the crowd was busy cracking glow sticks and bumping molly for bassnecter. I just listened to the show on archive with a clear head this time and I still believe that it was lacking. And I'm not ragging on it being a slower show, most of my favorite dead tunes are the slow ones, they weren't communicating properly, bobby was butchering lyrics, really just mumbling over lines, it seemed very half assed at times. listen to their set at nateva and then tell me if you still think they played well at allgood. If Jerry is rolling in his grave its because of self righteous douche bags like you, why don't you go fuck yourself, two times, johnny.
the boys were on fire at allgood... end of story.
So was Bobby, and I don't even like Bob that much, but his look like rain was beautiful. I'm getting the sense that for some of you, the only way you'll ever be happy is for Jerry to come back from the dead. lay off John, he's the best option at this time. The big guy is gone. Nothing's gonna bring him back. That guy from DSO butchered Morning Dew.
ok. jack said "end of story" so i guess he's right then . nothing more can be said . we must live with what jack says . the end . sigh!
does any one have any idea how to get the band to consider playing the suwanee music park, its where wannee fest and a bunch of other great music happens. i know bob has played their, as has john k. that would be the best show at the best venue of my life. anyone who's ever been knows what i mean
I downloaded this, and I'm extremely impressed with how smokin' hot this show is. Perhaps it comes across better on "tape" that it did for some of you suffering through the venue/logistics? Dunno, but the show is pretty scorching.
