A very special magical night at Levon's.To see the looks on people's faces as they waited on line and could hear the soundcheck-Deal,Cumberland,Peggo-O and the realization they were in for a once in a lifetime night. Deal rocked,Dire Wolf had Larry on fiddle,Rider great,Peggy-O featured Theresa on vocals.Cumberland was the highlight of set-really hot.FOTD Angel Band nice.GDTRFB into Goodnite had the room going nuts. Phil stayed for the entire show,sitting behind Levon on the radiator.He returned for Donald Fagin's Shakedown,Tennessee Jed,an accapella Attics with Larry Theresa and Amy and a lovely Brokedown.Also played on The Weight finale. Jane Fonda was grooving,singing along to all the songs,and Mike Gordon was hanging having a great time.Perhaps the best Midnight Ramble ever.
