What a great show after the show at Quixotes in Denver. Furthur was over by 9:00. Ray White from Frank Zappa came on stage at 11:00. Melvin followed with some old school funk. A rising star female vocalist came on stage and led the band through Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, and Chaka Kahn classics. Then Johnny K came out and led the band in That's What Love will Make You Do. Melvin closed the show with more classic Legion of Mary. Some of the most free wheeling and ripping Melvin rifts I have heard.
