Performing The White Album, with special guest Denny Laine (of The Moody Blues and Wings) joining them for the second set opening of BIRTHDAY and YER BLUES, as well as the encores, which began with Denny's GO NOW. Typical Fab Faux show, which means it was terrific with lost of laughs, but the best part is it was a club date and not a theatre show. Lots of people standing on the floor grooving to perhaps the most eclectic Beatles album.

Very cool! I was just doing some research on these guys yesterday! How many times have you seen them? Did they always do a "full" album? Did they perform acoustically at all? Thanks.

Dom:

A full abum is the most common show. The White Album takes a whole show, while other albums are a single set and the other set is what they call a mixed bag. Tthey sometimes also do an entire show that is a mixed bag.

They will be 3 nights to close out the year at City Winery (28th - 30th) that will be not just mixed bag shows, but without their horns and strings sections, so as they termed it "stripped down Rock 'N Roll". I've seen them probably at least 10 -12 times, I'd say. they've been at this 13 years, but I've only been seeing them for probably half that long.

Thanks for the info. So, it's fair to say, probably, that you've heard some real rarities? Have you ever heard "What Goes On"? It was the only (I believe) composition credited to Lennon/McCartney/Starkey
