I've loved Alice for a long time. I didn't see this show but was psyched to see that Jambase is picking up on her groove.

This woman can put out some powerful sound with her extraordinary voice and earthy grooves. I heard she did some California shows recently that rocked out with guitarist extrordinaire Jeff Pevar (the 'P'in CPR - David Crosby and son James Raymond) and funky bass man Bobby Vega (Etta James, Sly and the Family Stone and Steve Kimoch and others...). Hopefully there will be some more of that combo coming up!
