The Paramount Theater in Denver is truly an acoustical wonder-of-the-world. Loudon Wainwright III, who has been touring with HT, was the perfect warm-up. His wit, playing and bombastic banter served to get the audience ready for the Main Event.

In my 40+ years of watching Jorma and Jack play, I cannot recall ever hearing the quiet thunder of Hot Tuna roll off their fingers so magically. Barry's playing provides Jorma with the creative space he craves. Jack added 3 or 4 pounding bass solos. A wonderful evening was had by all.
