let's first start that I am not the ultimate Wilco fan. I like the music and was blown away with the ease and the great sound that I heard Sat Night even on the lawn (we got there a little late for seats). We had excellent sight lines.

I would say it reminded me of REM.An updated version of the super group. i was pleasantly surprised by this bands growth and professionalism. One min a ballad , the next a feedback punk band.. Very very cool!

The crowd was so mellow and really different than what I have been used to lately. Everyone was polite, including security. No hassles.

i could tell that it was not a normal smoking crowd, but as it got dark, that did change :-)
Closet hippies!!!

Jeff was into it big time and you could tell he was having a blast. How do you classify all over the place ? And even as the night went on, he was so funny with his comments "You are so high, you won't even remember this" and bring his son John on stage "look what you hippies did to him" , completely in tie dye! Tooo funny!

Highlights:
California Stars - nice tribute to the Greek and Jeff's love for this venue :-)

I'm the Man Who Loves You - Sweet! Perfect for the night. Weather set a very nice romatic tone to the night :-)

Hoodoo Voodoo - It smoked and was so on the place was on fire :-)

They brought the energy and could have gone on all night if they could.

Saw a few tapers there , and so I would say, get this tape. You will not be disappointed.

Nice review, thanks. Nothing like the Greek.

I wanted to go to this but it didn't work out. I haven't seen them since Nels Kline joined, and I would imagine he makes quite a difference.

Nice Review. I saw the Tahoe show and was blown away. The place was not that crowded, great sound system. The weather was perfect. Almost looks like the same set list. I have been singing Handshake Drugs all week. Nils was making some of the weirdist noises out of his guitar, I loved it when he got the feed back from his amp. Jeff was in rare form. I was in the right place at the right time. Thanks Buncomb for all the shows, it really helped but what Microfishie said they moved it up a few steps. I felt like I was at a real rock show!!!!!!Thanks BOTB and Redneck for the beer.
