I'm excited for Red Rocks too, but let's not forget Utah. I'm looking for my Train in Vain, and Broken Arrow here:-) please, maybe...
no repeats so far, I don't think.
hopefully, they'll stretch the repertoire through 5 shows, before starting from scratch at Red Rocks.
Shaq > So if there are no repeats, what are we going to get here in Utah?
I'm guessing you are going to get an excellent show and nothing less. Something about the Utah mountains seems to help this music shine. Or maybe it was being booed in Salt Lake in the early days that always gave the band an extra kick! (Salt Palace '81 is still burned into my brain.) Whatever the factor, Furthur is bringing serious fun your way.
They are sounding tight and, no matter the setlist, I'd bet you are set for a real good time. Enjoy!
at load in:
he lord just laughed at Brigham, said "you'd better get to work --
The next time I check in here, I want paradise on earth
Salt Lake City where Brigham made the desert bloom
Salt Lake City put a color TV in every room
And they got them crazy Mormon chicks
Yes I'll be goin' there real soon
Salt Lake City hey feel that magic in the air
Thanks Francesco,Eddieboy!

as long as they play it well. they could do about anything including, the repeats. what they lack in spontinaity they more than make up for in sheer tenacity they bring more power to the ,more concise arrangments you just gotta love it all! for the clock's always tickin' and this is all a limited engagement.. get it while you can!
which is why we just bought tickets for Monterey...

Terrapin
more Terrapin
I hope everyone has a great time, is safe, and comes home out of Utah without hassle. That place has more speed traps and drug set ups than any other state I've ever visited. It's serious revenue for a lot of those smaller towns and counties.
Listening to Set 1...very good..Thank You Taperrob..
This and Missoula Set 2..is more Furthur then I have listened to since Rehearsal shows

No updates? What's goin on in Utah in that cave up in hills?
nice set, subtly designed for Utah. Utah is known in the mainstream as the "place with the Mormons" but man, with that stereotype aside, Utah may be one of the most weirdest-coolest--surreal states in North America.
the Terrapin is appropriate.
sorry boys and girls. internet weird in CO! Blessings and thank you.
set 1 was killer,thanks taperrob,Eddieboy!
any more to the second set??

Great show folks. Home state, after many Alpines..First set was all about the country mountain bopping songs, Big RR rocked, Alligator jam, Rag, Lucy, and Cosmic opener was quite a surprise and Passenger was over the top. Second set paired opener of Here Comes Sunshine and Foolish Heart blazed, and great to hear the Terrapin suite flawlessly played. I even liked the new song, some cool/weird vocal harmonies...Comes a Time was terrific by John, Phil danced a lot and talked, and Bob was all over it like everybody else (great back up harmonies during Loose Lucy..). For some strange reason, it was great to hear the rumblings in a fairly large indoor stadium (hockey arena), as it was loud and clear with a rowdy US Blues to close out. Classic/timeless, Got my fill/Phil.
is this the 1st Furthur Watchtower ?
no did watchtower at PNC in NJ
