I don't even know where the stream link is? Anyone?
I'm Jonzing for a stream!
having the link is useless without the password
Taper Rob usually posts the set as soon as its over ...so we can follow along just a bit little late. I am good with that. Thanks for everything TRob.

Thanks rob good to see ya back on board!
(((((PHIL)))))
zman apparently did not make the trip down south. he doesn't require password which is totally awesome. i appreciate taperrob posting after each set, but it makes for a late night!
still no password anyone???? plezzz
For the love of God, please stream us.
PW?
Can we get a password please?
Sorry, kids. We're not "innie".
Yeah. I like hearing the stream live and being surprised by each song. Hard for me not to follow along here and know the set list. Zmans streams were fun because I was listening closely for foreshadowing notes pointing to what song might be next. With TRob I usually have to finish up second set the next day. C-bus will be live for me ... Can't wait!
this stream situation sucks- knowing its there but we're not worthy!
what makes them better than us where all suposed to b PHAMILY
China Doll
Hello Hounder. Have you shaped up your act yet? Do you have power back up there in the CT hills yet?
Floe next song?
yes we have power in CT
TaperRob goes to all the effort to do it, he can share it the way he wants. I don't think anyone thinks they're better, I just think they are careful. By doing the time delay, technically they are just "taping" not streaming, and it is less likely to ever get shut down.
I say - be grateful that he is doing it at all. thank tapers, always.
And if you think you can do it better - PLEASE DO! We need more people willing to be of service!!!
good luck
doesnt work tRob????
^^^^think you can do it better - PLEASE DO! We need more people willing to be of service!!!
but I want it now dammit.

Celebration
Nov. 10 th at Madison Sq. Garden will be the 10 year anniversary of the passing of Ken Kesey...
To show that he's keepin up on current politics, during Tom Thumb's Phil sang
"Now all the congressmen
they just stand around and boast
how they blackmailed the speaker of the house
into leaving his post."
This is going way back; after Newt (who was at the time speaker of the house) got busted doing sometheing naughty, Phil also swaped the sargent at arms line for speaker of the house. I think that Dylan would be good with creative change.

A sleeper? I must've just listened to a different set. Thanks taperrob!
hey phil.
if you are reading this tomorrow while kicking back in nyc..how bout a nice broken arrow on thursday..LOVE FURTHUR, but it seems the ratio of unbrokens , wrs and dews.. ALL AMAZING are played alot...expecially onm the shorter fall stands... How bout breaking out a good ol' Mr. Charlie...preferably at a slower tempo than the phil and phriends versions w/ joan singing..Of course its ALL SO GOOD.. (Just no Corrina) Sorry Bobby! Anyway, I miss Jerry...But I love John.
Peace Out... By the way I am a proud organ donor.

all distinct possible tunes
revolutionary hamstrung blues damnit?
Hey now I can c the Time pics.
brokedown encore in nyc- another pretty good bet.
candy man?
i was hoping for a ramble on rose the other nite too... maybe i can get it in AC. Due to health issues i am giving up my MSG tic, so i do hope i can get somewhat of a stream.
i just can't trekk around NYC anymore, 'specially in the rain ! we lost power here last week for 6 days, and i got really sick.....still recovering. And hoping to make it to my old stompin grounds of AC, where i lived for 10 yrs. Gonna meet up with some of my twirlin girrls from the late 70's. ( now we get dizzy just standin still tho..lol ! )
Have a good show @ MSG, i'll be there in spirit now ~
the good setlist maker showed up
Two strong sets with a rockin' "Speedway" boomin' "Time and deep "Death" highlighting the second set. "After Midnight" would have been nice had Mr. Clapton been on stage but was nothing special. Strong ending with "Fade Away."
Lovely weather. Very small crowd. Usher said only 3,500 out of a possible 15,000 seat capacity. Super venue with dynomite acoustics.
I've been enjoying this couch potato tour so much. Hangin' out with such nice people. On Thusday it will be time to abandon the couch, take a train to 34th street and dance some
Killer show. Smallish but very enthusiastic crowd, with folks screaming and cheering during the Liver Rap. Everything they played was golden.
In the first set, Tom Thumbs and China Doll > JAM > Cumberland were off the hook. Phil dropping bombs everywhere.
Everything in second set was dyanamite. Killer transition into Truckin', great jamming out of it, too. Caution was Sick. Time was ridiculously good, too.
And, Phil gave a shout out to UVa during the rap. I'm a proud alum tonight!
glad you had fun, Bzl! setlist looks/recording sounds a little snoozy, but the perspective is usually different from the inside.
what did Phil say about Hoo-ville? "Bet y'all are glad you didn't go to Penn State?" "How did both Bear and Edgar Allen get kicked out of this place?" "Is John Paul Jones related to Coran Capshaw?"
inquiring minds want to know (and are unable to fast-forward Taper Rob's recording to the end).
Very high energy show, from my perspective. Nothing "snoozy" about it, not even close. Judging by the crowd reaction inside, I don't think mine is a minority opinion from those who were there.
something along the lines, "It's great to be here at the wonderful University of Virginia (clue applause). When my son was considering schools, he considered going here, and judging from the reception that you are giving us tonight, I kind of wish he had."
A couple minor differences to the setlist as presented above, from what I heard/saw. I've added some arrows, taken one away, added/subtracted a "jam". (One might consider the transition (vocalized as "Going Deep" by Weir) between Time and Death as another "jam", too.)

had a lot of fun. truckin and china doll were highlights for me, as well as the fotd. cool place. lots of energy. Jk was turned up in the mix and had some amazing solos. Chementi is great and Russo is a monster. Phil was smiling and having a ball through the second set.

Are we listening to the same show? This was a great show! If only the Z Man was on the road, we would have a genuine couch tour instead of a tape-delay couch tour, but nonetheless it is appreciated, TaperRob.
Thanks Taperrob
Adam, i am def listining to same show as you.. ( how ya doin sweetie ? ) I just listened to 1st set and i thought it was hopping, for me wayyy better vibe than my Amherst show, but i guess that's why there is that opinions and a**holes quote that all make so true.
hope i see ya in AC, gonna be one big hoot~n~nannie.......... fer sure !!
I want to thank Taperrob for all his work, Thanks Rob! I am so stoked for MSG now!
What a great treat to hear time, We enjoyed the lot as well. Guys be safe along the tour and see on down the line
