THANK YOU STREAMERS - free the music! Last night of the run and it has been a good one! The band is firing on all cylinders - great song selections and lots of great ol' Dead tunes in the mix (thanks Jill!!). Would I have wings to fly myself off to the fabulous Fox Theatre for tonight's show, it would be a great thrill - but am happy to be 'on the couch' with many phriends from The PhilZone sharing the love, right Hounder? Bake some cookies for us Lynn. I'll be on the stoop with the dogs and the phat boys.
In the orchestra pit, hoping for a So Many Roads. Since it is Sunday and the forecast is for chilly winds, I am expecting Sampson & Cold Rain.
Looking forward to it with great anticipation. Youngest son is attending his first show, so now GD music will now be all in the family!
>>Last night of the run and it has been a good one!<<
Uh, Adam, I believe there is a show tomorrow in Indy. If you act quickly you can be the first poster for that thread, too!
does anyone have any feedback for me on what they think was the best show of this tour so far, so I can go crank it up thanks
Pick one any one that is always gonna be subjective! In my humble opinion I'd say Columbus because i lived it. Thanks to the couch streams i've believed i was at all the "Other Ones!" this is truly a wonderful time to go Furthur!! Peace to all and enjoy the music!
for anyone in St Louie, I just checked and there is a single ticket available in OPO3, row 5 seat 21. Basically 5th row right in front of John.
St Louis will be the BEST show on tour!!!!! What a FABULOUS theater!?!!!!

Last night I missed the stream because I was at a surprise 40th birthday party for a friend of mine and her husband hired Splintered Sunlight to play. There were about 50 of us in a relatively small place and those guys really rocked. I highly recommend seeing them if you get the chance.

I left St. Louis, the City of Blues, In the midst of a storm I'd rather forget. I tried to pretend it came to an end Cause you weren't the woman I thought I once met.
our heroic streamer just explained his activity - more or less - to the usher who was challenging him. did you hear that? he did a swell and smooth job. great thanks and homages to our heroic streamer!

StreamerMan!!! Was that ever fun! Thank you SO much.
Thank you St Louis, and good night! <3
Thanks so much for freeing the music! It was most unexpected. The couch tour lives!! The honest-tunes channel rocks on. Bless you, phriend.
WOW!!! Sorry, Bobby-bashers, but he was DEAD on last night. So was Phil and everybody else... The sound was impeccable... where WE were, at least...
brain hurt
^^ "the sound was impeccable last night".
I couldn't agree more.... And the theater!!!!! What a gem!
Who sang "Comes a Time" ?
John
JK with Sunshine.
. The sound was impeccable...
the vocals are way improved over the last time I saw them
Listening to recording now... incredible. I attended only one show this tour, but have listened to all. This is my favorite. A fluid list... Bobby is truly in fine form.
The jam out of Comes A Time is beautiful...
I would also say the venue contributed to how good this show is... there are probably a few reasons that make this true. The sound is obviously superior but it also must be so much more inspiring for the band to not play in a stadium setting.
That "Caution" was killer!! Shouldn't a "Creampuff War" tease be listed in there, too?
good to meet a couple zoners there on another magical night.
the FOX is one heck of a Theater !!!!!
"it gonna be JG Goode" line by Bobby before the encore was classic and you wouldn't believe me if I told ya why.
Why Johnny B Goode? I assumed it was because of Johnny Johnson who played in Ratdog for a while and is of course from St Louis. If that is not the case, I would like to know.
BTW, great show, Comes a Time was special!
^^Chuck Berry is from St Louis......
Actually, after listening to the SBD, i think that it was PHIL who said, "Johnny B. Goode".
I was there,It was Phil
Yes, Chuck Berry is the missing link here folks. He was a musical catalyst for diverse guitar phenoms like Keith Richards and one Robert Weir as well.
