Friday Setlists & Etc.
stay tuned.
So lucky we get 2 more nights of that!
Oh man I cannot wait to get away from this desk and head over the hill to the show! Two hours more to go....
A venue manager told me they had sold about 2600 fix for last night and about 3K for tonight, tomorrow is sold out. Lot's of space for everyone last night, tonight I think the music will more fully reflect the spaciousness of the venue. See you there!
Look for
Low Spark, Darkstar and I am the Walrus tonight
She Said, She Said

It's good to see the P&F Show Reviews Only again.
sitting here in limbo, waiting for a stream to come....
what time is downbeat? FEED ME DAMN IT!!!!!
If you are there tonight, Rob, can you give us a hello or something so we know we are not flying blind tonight? Thanks !
Nothing up on further.net yet either. The GD internet is strangely silent tonight. Maybe the show kicked off at such an insane level that the audience is just standing there slack-jawed, too stunned to text or stream.
TR is there.....
show just starting now 8 PM local time
Of course, I could just be projecting...
Who's got my miracle stream? Need one...
please stream
found this
don't know how good it will be

E: We Bid You Goodnight (P, W, J - Jackie on banjo)
a very different show than last night, but just as good. highlights are the Estimated>Eyes, Loose Lucy, and pretty much entire second set. Tonight was mainly about Warren. He owned it all night. Also thought Russo was just massive throughout. He and Phil are made to play with each other. Scofield pretty much laid back all night, and towards the end of the show, had all but disappeared, but it was clearly Warrens night, so it was a smart move. All in all, another amazing night of music.
yes all of that and then a Bid you Goodnight...wow this bank picked up right where P&F let off, i remember how dialed in Warren and Phil are, showed tonight...Russo was a monster and Jackie played a killer harp in Caution...oh yeah Caution after Low Spark then chain>DS>Walrus>Dew...I think...mind blowin...these cats shredded, Jeff and Sco had some nice conversations..same with Sco and Warren...real good stuff,...tommorrow we get Viola Sand, Truckin>The Real Thing; )
i somehow seemed to have missed them playing Caution?? weird. yeah, some great material left. China Cat, Viola, Playin, St. Stephen, etc.
A better show than what the setlist might indicate.
If they don't play Mason's tomorrow, I'll eat a wookie's nasty hat. (not a prediction, but an educated guess)
What will this evening bring me this morning? Just how nasty is that hat Zeno? Eddie, are you kidding me?
Holy mother of God!
Bucky I don't have the requisite superlatives this AM. ;-)
Suffice to say left satisfied...
Understatement of the run so far...
quote:A better show than what the setlist might indicate.
Thanks to all for the stream! Sco/mule/phil & friends......Phantastic!
"A better show than what the setlist might indicate."
Well, it's a damn good set list so the playing must have been out of this world.
damn I think my panties got a little wet reading that setlist ...
looks AWESOME !!!!!
p.s. as always
THANK YOU TAPER ROB !!!!!!!!
Thank you TaperRob!!!!!!!!
your work is highly appreciated...
Ok Breakfast under my belt a a few more zzzzz's
Gypsy Woman wow!
Ball and Chain likewise at least the phenomenal jam portion...
Reaslly the whole 2nd set smoked from start to finish!
Got to meet a new zoner Homebrew, friend and fellow banjo picker of Brother John.
thanks for the afternoon treat
J G's voice is nice...in speedway..fresh, one way or another this darkness has to give........wish i was there for that one.....dam it jim....Is that SCOcc...sweet....man ouch....Theres Warren.....hell yeah......man....chementii takes a
theres PHIL........Hello PHIl......
Heelll Yeah.....sheeze.....
WISH i WAS THERE...
ah...welcome back friends!!!
What the hell is this
Chementi's sweet keys, thats what that is!
Now back to the show.....Goo goo ga joob! Hung in 116 with the Bongmont Boys and had a great time. I don't know where to begin...ok...Althea......it was beautiful.....the sound was dialed in from the start. While it was all A+ in my ears, a couple of 1st set highlights were Loose Lucy....at the end it got a little loosey goosey and Phil realigned that shit with a signature riff turned up to 11! Thank you for a real good time! Then Ball and Chain...Sco blew the roof off at the end. The second set was like a musical mobius strip. It just kept turning around and over and inside out and back again. The musicanship was A++ and Dark Star>I am the Walrus>Dark Star was killer. "I am the eggman"......purple lights up on audience... WOOoo!...they are the eggmen....lights - WOOoo!...I AM THE WALRUS GOO GOO GA JOOB! The rest needs no explanation. I loved Phil's humble thanks for this "enclave of community". I'm so stoked that there are two more sets tonight!
I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.....See you tonight!
Last night moved me THE WHOLE TIME!!!!!! again, I love Phil and Friends. The show seemed strong to me, with no down time.
I want to be like Ophelia today... but the mountains are callin me.. maybe sometime b4 the show I'll sleep to dream.
Thank you, Rob for such beautiful music to slllowwwwly wake up with... a little Athea with my coffee... extra yummy.
of course i want you to walk me out in th dew dam it....every DEW...IT MATTERS....IT just does.....
LOVE YOU PHIL
Best Dew I've heard in years
OH BOY!!!
I guess when Warren Haynes puts on a shirt like that, u know it's gonna be silky silky crazy crazy smooth. In section 106 with what seemed to be a bunch of people who never heard of dancing of even standing for that matter.....oh well, just made me shake my bones even more. Thanking u phil for quite possibly one of the best chains even with Warren side winding out of the building. Thought Chementi held back a bit but of no consequence to the unbelievable entire second set. Russo's explosive and methodical mechanics was so much fun to watch. Super stoked that Jackie got to shine in his ball and chain like the sun. Was waiting for a little longer breakout pickn during encore, but phil did forewarn a time constraint. Can wait to see what's cooking tonight!! Love and Light
Oh ya..."she looked at me like Newt Gingrich". Hahaha! Nice
gypsy woman = caution
a whole new suite of warren lyrics channeling the Pig
Highlights = the whole f*cking show, but particularly the loose lucy jam, ball and chain, low spark, caution, dark star, I am the walrus, and dew.....
The difference between Furthur and this band are like two fine wines, we have been drinking from one bottle for awhile now. and the other bottle's vintage just got alot deeper.
they still did not return to the third lyric of low spark......
(I think)
love your eyes phil........love you...that was the sweetest eyes i have heard you sing.....
"gypsy woman = caution"
weird. when did that start?
First known performance: November 3, 1965 at Mother's, in San Francisco. The band was still known as the Warlocks at the time.
Just finished listening to the 2nd set and it was amazing - the I Am The Walrus was as inspired as (IMHO) the most famous one from
DAR Constitution Hall on 04-24-01 out of the opening jam - keep the fire burnin' boys!
