Almost show time! Will be checking in to see if Coloartist is streaming tonight. Last night's show came in crystal clear.

Aaagghhh!!! Seems to be nothing on the stream again, just like last night. The ustream site seems to be unresponsive. Any suggestions from the successful users?
kymmie74, this stream is fat and clear; it must be your local connection.

It has gotten kind of choppy the last few minutes; otherwise, it's been pretty much solid.
There's the ever colorful Adam Dean...was lookin for you to join in the fun...
is stream working for anyone?
not for me end of 1st set?
Scarlet>Colors would have been nice. They don't play Colors enough.
Stream was great until the end of So Many Roads. Too bad, sounded like JK did a great job. Hopefully second set will be there.
hope stream is fixed or its bedtime, but would love to fall asleep listening to this.
Stream up and fine
ah - to be twirling to a Playin' on the Rocks...
This is a nice alternative though! The band is sounding pretty good from here.

W-O-W!!!
This was one of those type of shows I always hope to get...listening late into the night here in the midwest was a treat. Seeing shows since early 80s, I've always wanted a Dark Star St. Stephen sandwich (still haven't got St. Stephen at all). But the set list here was another one for the ages. Yikes. Monster of a show. I really really enjoy this band. Phil is groovin like crazy...jk is really on fire...jeff c is simply amazing...Russo is a beast...jeff and sunshine add all that is needed for the vocals to be great...and without Bobby it wouldn't be the complete package...his vocal and playin make it what t is...i am so glad we are getting this wonderful reprise of the music...they truly have taken it furthur...
A surprise ending! No OMSN to be heard - maybe they'll play it on Sunday! It was an awesome show and nice to be back 'on the bus'. : )
Jeez looks like a hell of a second set. No filler there.
Listening to that high quality stream I thought it was a great show. For all the grief we give Bobby, it just wouldn't be as powerful without him. My only complaint on the show was that they messed with the Dew and didn't finish it. Please don't mess with the Dew! Long live Furthur.
I criticized Bobby for vocal flubs on the Friday show, but he was GREAT last night.
Does seem like at times there are some sound issues that develop on his guitar, but he quickly notices it and switches guitars.
It was an off the charts show. Best Set 1 of the near 30 Furthur shows I have taken in!
Wish they would have finished Dew, but I am not complaining.
they will finish DEW tonight BABY CAKES!!
Like you said, Dave McG, Bobby brings something utterly unique to this music. His playing on Friday strongly reminded me of that and I'm looking forward to hearing more of the same (and no vocal flubs) in this show. When he's on (and when his equipment is on too) he has that 'other' Weir'd sense of the groove that changes everything.
I really admire what Warren brings out when playing with Phil - Broomfield was huge and Telluride perhaps even better - but Bobby does a whole other thing. No comparisons ... Bobby is out there in the grate tradition, not the best at what he does but the only one!
I've see Furthur, oh about a dozen or more times now -- this was the Best Furthur show I've seen, surpassing (dare I say) many GD shows from back in the day -- the subtle change of Bobby & JK positioning was way cool -- brought out a palpable surge of energy that was undeniable -- the music played made me speechless -- it was if the guys said to JK -- Hey, how's about you lead us; we've got your back, and all those lunatics out front, they got your front -- so go for it!" JK did and man, it was awesome. My take on it at least.
Dew Encore > playin reprise. No finish to the Dew -- Ok, I guess it doesn't matter anyway. ;-)
Just gettin' to posting now. I thought those shows at red rocks were some of the best i've seen. SATURDAY WAS NEW YEARS QUALTY STUFF! Beautiful weather and the boys really shared the moment with us all. Phil and Bobby shining- I felt bad for Phil when he sang the wrong opening line to unbroken but it didn't slow anything down. God bless Furthur and all of thier beautiful fans!!
Sorry about the delay on these, but here's a link to some great photos from the Saturday night Red Rocks show courtesy of Listen Up Denver!
