Hey hey
Lookin' forward to my first Furthur show of the year.
So what scraps are left over from Red Rocks...?
Terrapin? Stella? Box? Truckin? Crazy Fingers?
Those seem like the better of the leftovers.
BTW Skerik's Bandalabra is playing at The Comet Tavern (10th and Pike, Capitol Hill). They will go on around 11:30. See ya there
Have fun
lots of good stuff leftover for Seattle...
and for anyone that hasn't seen Sherik, go see the Bandalabra. really good stuff!!!

Hey Now! Does your handle "taperTom" indicate you will be streaming those shows? 8-)
It's gonna be a beautiful day. Outdoor beer gardens will be rollin'!
Crazy week here in Seattle. We have Monday night football tonight against the Packers, then Furthur tomorrow! I wonder if the boys flew in a day early to catch the game!?
GO SEAHAWKS!
Yes! Go Seahawks! Way to many Packer fans downtown today.
TERRAPIN!
Help>Slip>Frank will make an appearance. See you all there tomorrow. Flying in from LA on business and catching this show as an appetizer pre LA>Santa Barbara. Looks like it's not sold out. Can anyone confirm?
Not sold out. you shouldn't have any problem getting tickets at the box office
Anyone know how long shows have been? Trying to set up a pick up time.
the crew goofing around in Seahawk Stadium!
They captioned it "Victim or the Crime"! Hilarious!
eleven terrapin brown eyed all up
anyone know if we will have a stream for tonight's show? taper rob perhaps?
lets hope T-Rob surfaces soon
PLEEEEAAASSEEE!
Have fun tonight. Would name some other good songs they have not played yet but I am hoping they save them for Portland.
Not sure how many songs these guys have played but I am sure they could go 8 or 9 shows without a repeat pretty easily if the wanted. The Dead did 6 at BCT in fall 84 without all the old stuff in the repetoire that Furthur pulls out.
See you folks Thursday

Overall a pretty solid performance with a mixed bag setlist, 1st set highlights were Victim Candyman Big Bad Blues. Watchtower flat out stunk. Second set was fun and the Bertha closer rocked. Venue was nice buta little sterile. Easy to walk right up front with the GA setup. Everyone have fun in Portland. I'm sure those shows will smoke. See you at the Greek and the Bowl!
The show had some nice moments but overall it was pretty average for me.
I really enjoyed Candyman and the Terrapin suite kicked ass. Though I love Mts of the moon I thought the jam was directionless and sounded more like a collection of teases than actual group improvisation. The Eleven helped but it too was a little uninspired (the venue may have contributed because by this point I was starting to feel like I was in some weird underground military bunker).
Jack Straw was sweet and rockin' and I thought the Estimated jam was interestingly angular.
Nice to be in downtown Seattle with all my friends. That made the show extra sweet for me.
The Skerik show after at The Comet was an epic failure. The band was already finished and a horrendously uninteresting disco band was
playing. My apologies to anyone that went up there via my recommendation.
Have fun in Troutdale, I may go but can only hit the Thursday show (weep).
This weekend we will decompress on the Olympic Peninsula--Neah Bay, Makah Reservation, Shi Shi Beach, Lake Ozette, and the Hoh Rainforest...feels good just writing it.
