Well well well...great night last night Sunsays are always strong...you are slow on the draw Adam Dean....ha!
It's a new dawn...big show comin tonight.
Jonesin' here...
Hey Brendan (mcauleyb Nadnerb70) - You have posted here 40 times and you should know how to start a thread by now! Thread listings need to show the town, date, and venue in the correct format. Please do not start threads in a haphazard manner - this upsets some of us!!! No need to respond in anger, just get with the program phriend.
Terrapin, China>Rider, Lost Sailor>Saint, New Potato Caboose, Loser, Good Lovin
Many good possible songs for tonight!
Adam right on...I've been on and off this site since 2001...I ll do it the standard way next time...funny thing all my bootlegs are organized in this date format not sure why I did month first...
Is the Furthur Community Forum down for everyone? I want to take part in the set list prediction game for tonight but I can't get on.
you are slow on the draw Adam Dean
I was sleepin' in after a smokin' late night!
Why always two threads for shows? AD - you must have been duffing up a storm today, just rewrite thread
Adam - i liked you April 156 thread the other night. I would start new title thread but driving to show.
PS- my drives have turn into duck hooks sometimes, they roll!
Clearly didn't preview my last message.

Hi, phriends! The furthur.net board has been down since set break yesterday. Unfortunately, easy picks in today's set list contest will not be tallied. Let's hope that the board is up and running again soon.
Hi Adam! Stoked you're still here! I've missed you old friend. Give them pups a treat for me.

Greetings from Eugene Or. So glad you made it !
I'm thinking the opener will either be Golden Road or Mississippi Half-Step, possibly Sampson but I bet that will be the encore.
They ended the first set with the golden road the other night
Oh yea forgot about that. Mississippi Half-Step then
Nope... Bertha Opener
Let the good times roll into monkey and the engineer

Hard to Handel
"HCS"...Not necessarily as the "Opener" though that's where one would likely start as its placement, but we know with this band, the paradigm(s) have long been altered. And I have NOT seen any post re: start of show and/or the setlist at this point. Stream...oh THERE it is a few posts above!
I'll also 2nd a "Terrapin" (probably less than even money at this point) and a "Birdsong"...
"Now I'm done!"
Uh, Chuck HCS was played last night.
birdsong already played too
Is there a 3rd guitarist here? Or am I hearing things?

From the olden days three golden ones so far
All Pigpen songs!
"Hard to Handle" is a 1968 song originally recorded by Otis Redding and written by Redding, Al Bell and Allen Jones. It was released posthumously after Redding's death in 1967 on the album The Immortal Otis Redding
Thanks, for the "Heads-Up "Voodoo chile" & "Jerrimike". I only looked at last nights list (missed the stream) once about 8 hours ago, I somehow overlooked the HCS tucked-in the #2 hole in Set II last night; though I didn't reference any previous sets here at Cap Theatre in making tonight's predictions.
If you're not going to "steal my wife(--Please!)", then at least take my advice: "Stay Away from the Brown Acid!".
While HCS is (obviously) "out" for tonight, Birdsong was Tuesday & unless any repeats are definitively Ruled Out (yes of course they COULD have already decided--but still unbeknownst to "us"--to go the entire 9-Show Cap Theatre run sans repeats), being 4 shows/5 days ago is buffer enough if they were so inclined. Not the best "odds" grant you...
Half the fun IS not knowing!
"Good Lovin'" is a song written by Rudy Clark and Arthur Resnick that was a number one hit single for The Young Rascals in 1966

*************Samson & Delilah*************
"Samson and Delilah" is a traditional song based on the Biblical tale of Samson and his betrayal by Delilah. Weir learned the song from Reverend Gary Davis, several earlier versions were recorded under various titles, including "If I Had My Way, I Would Tear This Building Down" by Blind Willie Johnson in 1927
funny...even though its sunday Samson seems oddly out of place with this set list lol...don't think anyone thought song six first set

This set is sacking the life outta the room. Feel bad for those on the floor.
listen to 12/19/93--I was there in Oakland and that was one of the best days between ever. Sick scarlet>fire too. Jerry"s vocals are a bit lacking but musically its off the hook!!!

Taper Rob..... words don't do you justice... thanks
That was a great show, even with a mediocre audio stream. Don't know what you were talking about Fonz, that set had lots of life and so did the crowd.
Just a question to Adam Dean, do you work for this website and are you an administrator or something? 4/21/13 is how we express dates in the US. Are you in the UK perhaps? But seriously, do you work for this Site? You had such a fit on Brendan nadnerb. His format is correct not the one that is in place. If you do work for the sites you might want to note that the correct format in the USA is month day year. If you dont work for the site, don't be so controlling. Thanks.
Well, well, well. The early calls. Sampson, Sailor, Saint and Terrapin....... I missed them all as my pillow called. Can't wait to fire up the show today.
Thanks TR for all your hard work!!!!!
>>f you do work for the sites you might want to note that the correct format in the USA is month day year. If you dont work for the site, don't be so controlling. Thanks.
Dude, some of like the consistent titles. Admin asked for this some time back.
Whatever...some people pay no attention to detail nor do they care. others do.
Great second set. Really fun waiting for the Terrapin and China Cat/Rider which we all knew were coming. They didn't disappoint. Everyone on stage was smokin' hot. Not enough has been said about how wonderful this venue is. Sound is perfect. Visuals are great. Staff is friendly. Easy in/easy out. What a run!
Show 2 last nite of my 3 nite run. Loved the "old school" feeling of the first set, but thought the last 2 songs did not fit, and kinda killed the flow. 2nd set was an interesting blend of songs that may look like they dont belong together, but overall it worked pretty well. I thought russo was on fire all nite.. I think friday was a better show, but both nites i left the cap happy. Much better than the beacon run last year, imo. Back on thursday for the finale.

This was a great show. The Foolish Heart > Mts > Terrapin was top notch stuff. Sugarmegs has a good download available if folks want to check it out.
