Enjoy the show and stream, folks. I'm out in the country and don't have a signal unless I drive out. Which I may have to do at some point tonight. ;). Hugs to my chat phriends. Happy Friday all! Peace....

End set 1
Who's there? About how many people there would you think?
(Infrared Roses Revisited)
Was there something wrong with the WRS the night b4 last that Bobby wanted to do it again so soon?
I remember at Alpine in '89 when Jerry played The Wheel on nights 1 & 3. That was just kind of a spontaneous brain fart. But the setlists nowadays are all written out for the whole show in advance. Curious.
Oh, duh.
I just joined the stream during the set break with the Boston show playing instead of tonight.
Nevermind.
hahahahaha - you're going to be fine WWP, deep breaths, and again. its all good my old buddy. I'm very curious how many are there now and Phil's wormhole.
you all know the stream switches over to /streamfurthur and /kfender1969 for set two, yes - and now you do!
Wish I had stayed in NY State to see this show. I missed the first couple songs, but the first set certainly sounds like a very solid, strong set.

getting its legs
Playin
Wish I was there but instead listening to a bar band play shakedown. Not bad.
Thanks kfender1969!
Just wondering if it's me or the stream...anyone just loose it ?
Caution
What just happened?
Caution indeed. Had to call the show and tell everyone to get to their cars because of a big storm coming in. Wow
Dam they should do lazy lighting
Are they really done??!!
Set I
Jack Straw
Dupree's Diamond Blues
My Brother Esau
Mason's Children
Mission in the Rain
Box of Rain
Set II
Playing in the Band >
Any Road
Mountains of the Moon
Caution (Do Not Stop on Tracks)
Show was stopped due to an incoming lightning storm, what a bummer!
They are not coming back...? Looks like great first set! Sorry for ya all
Decision was made by the venue, not the band. Unprecedented...
Missed from Set II:
Viola Lee Blues
Days Between
At a Siding/Terrapin Flyer
E: Liberty
Obviously the venue does not have the expertise to handle things like Merriwether Post Pavillon did during the great flood back in the day! That was a wild night! Nobody has balls anymore !
No doubt, Merriweather in 83 was the most unbelievable rain concert I was ever at, that Wharf Rat when the lightning was striking the place and the sound was popping on and off AND THE BAND KEEP PLAYING ON, not to mention the lawn was one big muddy slip and slide.
Heynowbro I don't remember much but I'm sure I had a good time! The mudslide in the lawn was farout!
so true John!
Set I
Jack Straw >
Dupree's Diamond Blues
My Brother Esau
Mason's Children >
Mission In The Rain
Box Of Rain
Set II
Playin' in The Band >
Any Road >
Mountains Of The Moon >
Caution (Do Not Step On The Tracks)
show stopped for weather/safety issues ...
what they were going to play that didn't get played:
Viola Lee Blues
Days Between
At a Siding/Terrapin Flyer
E: Liberty
And I didn't even wear a seat belt on that ride to Merriweather or back home neither. Kids are wussies today!
In addition to no seat belts we drove home naked. How we ever got home is beyond me and evidently the man!

What year?
6/20/83. No one who was there will ever forget it. Even the Aborigines...
Best wet t-shirt show EVER... Wet shorts, not so much.
>>>6/20/83. No one who was there will ever forget it. Even the Aborigines>>>
On the way there, it was raining so heavily that my car developed leaks around the windshield. We had 6th row tickets that we bought that morning after driving down from SPAC. Good times..
I sure as heck will never forget 6/20/83!!!! Phil trying to out-bomb the thunder! The mud slip-and-slide. The Aborigine Daydream. Definitely one of the high points of my 35 years OTB.
Merriweather was unbelievable. Only wish I had a video camera to take shots of what I saw people doing.....ahem......there was one low point as some young guy went sliding down the hill, in the mud, on his belly, and some kind soul broke something and left it and his stomach was sliced. Not pretty, not good. Great show and fun.
I've been on a live-music binge this weekend - trying to expand my horizons (?) by seeing acts that are new to me - saw Lyle Lovett with a 5 piece acoustic band in AC last night - he told a great story about jamming with Jerry back in "the day" before he played Friend Of The Devil (performed by Lyle on the DEADICATED album as well as last evening) - awesome show! Not called because of impending weather.
Lordy,,,, some kids got hit by lightning at RFK in '95,,,, one died but they didnt call the show... Life aint safe if you really live it!
Live and learn.
Phil was especially great, we were soaked, beautiful while it lasted
C is for cookie, that's good enuff for me!
Taper tony, have to say when someone dies of lightning they should have called the show. If they did maybe that could would be seeing Furthur today and had a bunch of GD under his belt.
