What time did Phil go on last night?
How long did American Jubilee play for?
Thanks
Phil started at 8:23 and ended at 12:20
Phun Phact: Phil was sitting in the sound board area while American Jubilee played last night then walked through the crowd when the lights went on to head back stage. Jubilee played for about 40 minutes. Worth seeing.
thanks for the setlist update!
And make American Jubilee's set, worth it!
happycat! >^.^<m~
Last night , an unexpected pleasure! Get your ass to the Tower. I almost didn't go, but won some seats from the Peachfest crew. I knew something was up when I saw the Eat A Peach/Layla poster. A Duane Allman tribute with the guys playing all of side four from Derek and the Dominos, Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs to a responsive and appreciative crowd. .......
Sometimes you don't know what you're missing until you reach out to touch it
Phil is interviewed today on Philly radio WMMR. Will air about 2 PM

So, here is my take on last night's show - it was killer! It was "off the charts". The ovations for Phil were thunderous. He is so loved in PHIL-ly that he took an extra long few moments to bask in the adulation after Set One.
What a band! These guys have grown together in the past 10 days and boy do the rock out!
I had to laugh - the band breaks into I Shot The Sherrif and guy behind me says "oh, not another Eric Clapton song!" Guess he never heard of Bob Marley - may be he thinks Bob covered EC. My take is that The Phriends know Bob Marley played at The Tower in April, 1976 and they were showing homage.
Hard to pick a "best song" - it was an "all good" night and everyone was smile, smile, smile!
I am in Loge Row AA LC sitting with Thom if anyone wants to stop by and say "hi".
Adam hope the guy w the silly question doesnt waste his time at the show tonight. During the sweetest part of Death Dont... when I really was into Anders vocals, these two guys near me were talking over the music... but I think the entire homage was to Derek and the Dominoes, from Sherriff to Rollin and Tumblin to Little Wing to Layla. Little Wing was my fave! But all good. Luther and Anders just roll off each other, with Phil watching them w a huge grin on his face!
There was also a strong weather theme in advance of the cold rain and snow that rolled through philly today. Bertha, Birdsong, Shelter and CR&S.
Rollin and Tumblin was as twangy as could be with Luther shredding a 2?-stringed guitar made with a coffee can. Great to hear some NMAS awesomeness!
The best wrong artist assumption I ever heard was a Cali show...maybe Cal Expo...not sure...the GD played Knockin on Heavens Door for the encore and two teenage boys said they couldn't believe the Dead were playing a Guns and Roses song
Here's another one from the front row- "Little Wing" - Enjoy!
