They fucking killed this set. Lots of jams. The Playin', the transition between China cat and IKYR, the Mountains breaks, and the other one were all stretched out nicely. The Other one>Rainbow was really cool too. Jimmy just made his guitar weep it out and they all joined for the second round of it. Big grins by the old man through the whole set. What a joy to watch.

The rest of the show wasn't too shabby either. I couldn't quite make the end of Panic but at least I only missed a couple. Had to save a little juice for tonight.

What time did the night's music come to an end, Mike? I went to bed when The Q finished up (almost 2:00 AM).

They do love their "home-town" hero Mr. Haynes! I guess there is no curfew in Asheville, at least not for these shows!

I remember walking out of one years ago close to 4 am.

It was a long drive back to Auburn the next day.

In 2008, the Allmans played until about 4:30am.

Sorry Phil, but this "new" version of The Other One is about as bad as it can get

To quote yourself - "Public opinion" is only a euphemism for "public ignorance"!

How true, I couldn't have said it better myself.

Phil will play as Phil will play, yours is not to question why - you can listen in or shut it off but please do not disparge the man.
